We currently have 3 trips booked but are thinking that it may not be a good value to get the PAP (or AP) as we will spend some of the days at Wonderworks, Fun Spot, etc. So....with a 10 day no exp, hopper with water parks and more, do we actually get 20 days (10 days in the major and 10 in the minor) or do you have to use a minor park after using a major park on the same day? Thanks!

I'm not quite sure I understand your question, but, if you get 10 day non-expiring tickets with water park and more, you can only visit 1 major park per day of use UNLESS you add the park hopper. Feasibly you could get 20 days out of the ticket without the hopper option, if you only visited 1 major OR 1 minor park per day. You could technically visit several minor parks in 1 day, but each one would count towards your total allotment of 10. With the hopper you could visit any or all of the major parks and only use 1 day towards that allotment. But 20 days total will still be your max number of days.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. I've been researching these tickets as well, since we decided that AP's are no longer a good option for us.

Thanks for the quick response. It would be a hopper as well. So you are saying that I have 10 minor uses. If I use 3 in one day they would be gone. But I don't have to use them on the same days as a maor park so I could get up to 20 days out of them. For example like this:

Day 1 - Epcot (we would only hop to a major, not a minor)
Day 2- BB
Day 3 - DQ
Day 4- MK
Day 5 - MK
Day 6-TL
Day 7 - HS
Day 8 -AK
Day 9- BB
Day 10 - BB

(at this point I would still have 5 majors left, right?)

Correct. After much research, I've decided NOT to add the park hoppers. We've reached the time when we are spending less and less time at the parks and more at the resorts. In 27 months with AP's, and 9 trips to WDW, I think we've only "hopped" once. I'm quite certain the 10 day non-expiring tickets with water park and more option will indeed yield 20 days of attractions for us.

I know for some these tickets don't seem to make sense or be a value, but we have been doing the no expiration since Disney started offering them and for us they have worked out great. I have an unused set of tickets that I won't need until 2013. Our current set (from 2006) will be used up this November. Since we don't do FL every year (switch off between DLR and WDW) this option works well for our family. The fact they don't expire is really great. Again, I know for some it doesn't work out, but for us it is really nice choice.

Also, unused (NE) days on a myw ticket can be used at Disneyland as well.
if you have hopping added, you get a one day hopper ticket at DL

no hopping, you get a one day one park ticket at DL

Thanks! I will definately be going with the 10 day then. They will probably last us for 3 years or so. We also won't feel so obligated to take a trip to WDW instead of somewhere else just because we have the AP. Thanks!
