Any further information on this yet? I'm going at the end of January and would like to purchase this with Park Hopping and no expiration. It seems this would be the best option for those of us who go about once a year. pirate:

I was on the Disney website today and couldn't purchase the Magic Your Way tickets yet. It appeared to be still set up with the old ticket options. I guess we won't know for sure until January 2nd. Good luck. 10 days, huh? Sounds wonderful!

We'll only be there for eight, but the unofficial pricing for a 10 day pass makes it worth our while if we purchase no expiration. I just haven't seen anything official yet.

Is this your first trip? I noticed you had only 14 posts. Welcome to the Dis. I have to tell you it is rather addictive. I don't have a trip planned until Nov 2005, but I am on here almost every day. I just love reading about WDW.

No, I have probably been about 20 times over the last 20 years, but just found DIS recently. I find myself here at least once a day as well, just don't seem to post all that often.

I think that we are also going to plan on buying the 10 day no expiration passes. Our trips usually consist of 4 days of park hopping and one day of waterpark/downtown disney/relax/whatever. I figure that if we also add the premium stuff to our tickets, this one purchase will last us 2.5-3 separate vacations. This would actually save us money in the long run and give a little more flexibility (i.e.--maybe we'll stop by Pleasure Island and Disney Quest along the way as well). Otherwise, we would end up paying more than we would presently (on park hoppers) for 4-5 day trips. I guess us "regulars" should start looking at thier ticket purchases as investments in future WDW vacations. Now.........I guess we need to save up an extra $400 in the next two years to prepare for our "investment." Groan. ;)

Exactly right. The money hurts up front, but if you can afford it, you will save significantly in the future.

Have you heard any specific info on availability of the 10 day pass?

The Base Price for the 10 day ticket will be $208 (adults) $167 (kids 3-9). The hopping is the flat rate of $35, and no expiration is $100... So for 10 days with park hopping and no expiration it would be $343 plus tax per adult and $302 plus tax for kids (3-9). Not bad when you think about it that is $34 per day plus tax :) These tickets are supposed to be avaliable for sale at the hotel front desk and guest services at the parks.

Thanks so much for the info pirate:

I'm totally confused by all this.. What is the difference between this new system and the old park hoppers?

There is a FAQ section with an extensive discussion onvolving most of the details of the new passes up above. That is the most comprehensive information on the MYW passes I have found.

So we can't purchase a 10 day ticket with Park Hopping and no expiration in advance ? On mousesavers, it states that you can, but, of course, there's not much about the MYW tickets on www.disneyworld.com , so I do not know what to do. I was holding off on buying my passes because I wanted to buy these new "MYW 10 day ticket with Park Hopping and no expiration." Does anyone have any more clarification on this? I understand the MYW, but I need more info on the 10-day pass. LibertyBelle, HELP!

Thanks in advance!

I JUST found this by doing a google search. It's on the official site, so the 10-day MYW DOES exist.

A tiny bit about 10-day MYW

Hope this helps! I'm off to get more info. I will be back if I find anything new.

I have not heard one way or the other about the 10 day being avalaible for advance purchase. They are not really marketing it as the AP would be the better choice (or so they say...I have not done the math on that one ;) ). I know in the WDW system it is not on the regular ticket sales screen, you have to hunt for it ;)

Thanks for replying, LibertyBelle!! I will be going to WDW for 5 days in Feb., but I wanted to buy a 10-day w/ no exp., park hopping so that I can use the remaining days on my following trip. Please PM me if you know where they may be available :)!

Thanks again!

Does anyone know if the military/SOG will be offering these tickets and if so will they be at a discounted price like the current tickets? DH just gave me the go ahead for X-mas next year!

But the AP is good only for one year, and if you purchase the non-expiring option the 10 day is good forever until you use it! pirate:

"All 10 day MYW Ticket comes with 5MPP, PH, and NE and are only available for purchase at gate or resort."

According to my information this AM, this is the only 10 day ticket they will be selling. Sorry, looks like you can't buy it without the extras, so no 10 day base ticket available.

Where did you get your info? This MYW 10-day ticket situation has so many rumors going on about it. On Mary's site, she states that there is a 10-day base ticket that you can purchase in advance (I think it's with Park Hopping). I know I am very confused about it  . . . I like what I read on Mary's site the best. . .I hope it's the "true" source  !
