10 Day MYW into AP?

We are going in May to SSR and I have already purchased 10-day MYW passes. I was reading through other posts on this board and saw someone mention that they were going to turn their 10-day MYW into an AP? Is there something special about this that I should know about?

If you are returning with-in 365 days for your first visit then sometimes it's better to upgrade the ticket you have .
10 Hopper is about $278 Ap is about $462

so if you can get the 2 or more trips in with-in the 365 days then it would be better.

You also get some discounts (thats change from time to time) and the ability to get the DDE card for $65 that gives up to 10 people 20% at most Ts meals and drinks.

We are getting the PAPs (waterparks and more) every other year and getting a few trips between our main 2 June trips.
