For those of you have read my previous reports, I mis-labeled our DtD day and Cape May Cafe as Day 4; it was actually Day 5.

We are up at 6:30 as it is EE day at MGM. It actually wasn't toooooo terrible getting up. We arrive at MGM at about 8:05; Sara, Bob, the kids and I drove and Mom and Dad took the bus. We were to meet up at Tower of Terror. We see Mom and Dad in the line for security- this day Disney bus service was just as efficient as driving! We go through security no problem Miracle of the day- my camera is working again! It had enough time to dry out- yeay!!!!! So I have 4 disposable cameras and 6 rolls of film and I am camera happy! We stroll down Hollywood Blvd- they are passing out fastpasses for Who Wants to be a Millionaire and we grab some. Sara is leaving at 10 or so because she has a massage appt. at 12, so she skips the FP. She agrees to watch Josh while we ride ToT. It was soooo awesome- I had been looking forward to this ride more than any other- we went on it once in 95 and remembered loving it. It lived up to the memory and then some- I forgot how elaborate the theming was and the up and down up and down was great! We all loved it and bought two pictures; we sent them to package pick up. Mom opts out of Rock N Roller Coaster, so she and Sara agree to watch both boys, as Sam isn't tall enough either. Dad, Bob and I rock out to Aerosmith- what a great take off! We buy a pressed penny and meet up with the ladies and the kids. Mom had taken Sam to Star Tours and we were to meet up with them there. We walk over to Star Tours and Sam has already talked Grammy into buying a Speeder from the original Star Wars movie (he loves those movies) that comes with a Luke. She throws in an R2D2- Sam used $15 of his Disney Dollars and Grammy paid for the rest and sent it to package pickup. Sam wasn't too happy with this, but it was for the best. We didn't want to lug it around or lose the pieces. We pose for pictures around the area and head over to Muppets 3-D. This show is so cute! Bob and I were kids when the Muppets were in their hey-day, so we enjoy this show a lot. Sara leaves us at this point, and it's about 9:30, 9:45. We decide it's time to start heading over to Who Wants to be a Millionaire..first I duck into the Writer's Shop....the clouds part....beams of light shine down upon me....soft angelical music plays....IT'S THE STICKERS!!! My Holy Grail is over!! I grab two boxes of the theme park stickers and slap down my credit card. I was so happy. :Pinkbounc One of the boxes was for Mom- we had both been buying stickers and planned on doing a swap at the end of the week. Bob and Sam were separated from us and I had to direct him via cell-phone to the Millionaire show. Thank God for cell phones. I had bought these cool Mickey walkie talkies and we only ended up using them once. Mostly because I would forget to give one to the departing party. We play Millionaire and I'm slightly pouty because I hold Josh for most of it and he doesn't allow me to maximize my fastest finger usage....what can I say. It was fun, but isn't the best show to sit through with two small kids. Mom got to #8 on the leader board- GO MOM! We head back to the Al's Toy Barn area and we stand in the longest line so far to meet Buzz & Woody..it's worth it though. While Mom, Sam and I are waiting to do this, Dad, Bob and Josh go to the Honey I Shrunk the playground- Bob said it was cool, but hard to keep track of your kids in there. We go to Pizza Planet for lunch- we had a PS for 50's Primetime, but we just felt like a quick meal. Well, the line for getting pizza was super slow; Bob and I got two veggie pizza meal deals (pizza, soda and salad) and a cheese pizza and milk for the kids to split. The total was about $29. It was ok- fun atmosphere, esp. if there are Toy Story fans in your group. I liked it better than our "Land" meal at Epcot we had the other day. We went to Indiana Jones and saw the show- the boulder didn't work at all. The said something about a technical difficulty. We walk over to see the Little Mermaid, but Bob, Dad and Sam all didn't want to see it, so we decided just to leave. I buy a Mickey balloon for Josh on the way out- $5. We catch a bus back to the resort.

I am restless and want to go back to a park. I ask Sam if he wants to go to the MK with me to see the parade and he says YES! He has been wanting to see Chernabog (I don't know why...he's a pretty happy go-lucky kid...just likes creepy guys I guess) and I told him he's in this parade. We walk over to the MK and we get some gummi Mickey's in the Market house ($3). We wiggle through Main Street and park it in front of the Liberty Tree Tavern. We wait about 15-20 minutes for the parade to begin. I thought the parade was great and I love all the characters! I took almost a whole roll of film. We go and get FP's for Splash, and hop on the train to Tomorrowland. I quickly figure out MK doesn't have a TL stop- only Toontown. We get off in time and wind our way down the path to Tomorrowland. We get in line for Buzz and wait about 10 minutes or so. I get 206,000 this time! Wow! Get the back side of the red robot's hand- my score went way up when I hit that. I wanted to get Sam's haircut and realized we wouldn't have time for Splash. We head down Mn. St to the barber shop and 3 people are ahead of us. We wait about 30 minutes and then it's Sammy's turn. They do such an awesome job there. He got a great haircut, funny interaction, and lots of blue hair gel and pixie dust. And about 20 stickers for being a good client. I gave a nice tip and we hopped on the monorail back to the hotel. Everyone loved Sammy's hair! :smooth: The rest of the group was anxious to go to a park. My! I was going to 3 parks in one day! They wanted Epcot for dinner. I was up for it. Bob wanted Japanese or Chinese. We stop through Ice Station Cool again to try some other sodas (I had ruined everyone's palate the evening before;) :p ) and Dad and Mom decided they wanted Chinese. Bob didn't hear me say that's where they were going and we got into a semi- serious argument about the misunderstanding. In hind-sight it was a dumb argument and I was extra irritable cause I was tired, hot and hungry. We go to Lotus Blossom Cafe and get 3 sweet and sour chicken combos- the chicken, pork fried rice and an egg roll. We also get a hot and sour soup, 3 drinks and a fruit slushie. It was $31. The food was fine- not the greatest but not horrid by any means. And it was stifling in there! It was a covered seating area, but more like walls with holes in it. No opportunity for air to move and no fans to move it. I was dying. Dad went back and got me a Fiesta margarita from Mexico. THANK YOU DAD!!! Sometimes Dad's really are the greatest, you know? It improved my mood, and we wandered around the rest of the showcase. Mom and Dad watched the movie in France and Bob, Sara, the kids and I exited. Gramma Sara got Sam a light-up sword thingee- a semi-Disney bargain at $6 (I thought it was going to be $10 or $12). We zone out on the monorail on the way back. We grab some soft serve ice cream in the CR's food and fun center and crash.

Magical Moments- 3 parks in a day! Finding the stickers! Tower of Terror! Sam meeting Buzz! Spending time alone with Sam in the MK- the parade and haircut were great!

Chernabog Moments- My melt-down in China. Sorry Bob!

Wow - 3 parks in one day - a good day for all - thanks for posting!

it happens to more then you know......I like the sweet and sour meal at the Lotus place too.....but also did not like the confined feeling and having to share the meal with the birds....although they were polite and waited......thanks so much for your report...........
