10/31 or 11/1 Best Party Choice ?

I turn 50 this Halloween. We have a resort stay booked from 10/30-11/4. I would like to go to the Halloween Party for the first time. Which day would you suggest would be less crowded? Thursday 10/31 or Friday 11/1? Or will they be equally crazy? Thank you
