I did take a few piccies - I'll post tomorrow....

Ellis met Daddy at the front door of the "restaurant". He said "Welcome to the Romance Restaurant Sir...Your table will be ready in 10 minutes"

Neil couldnt believe it and shot upstairs for the quickest shower of his life:rotfl:

We had heart shaped garlic cheesy bread to start with a spicy dipping sauce

Filet mignon (mine had a roquefort sauce), chips:rolleyes1 and peas for main (Neils favourite)

and choc cheesecake and cream for dessert (my fave)

All topped off with a bottle of cheap champagne:goodvibes

It was a fun evening - Ellis's choice was to play wii after dinner:rolleyes: - not that romantic, but he's only up for another 30 minutes - they're playing in the lounge together now

I'm just finishing the last of the champagne now so if my spelling is worse than normal then thats why:rotfl:

Karen, that sounds like a lovely evening, what a sweetie you are for doing all that :lovestruc

Apparantly, all the men Neil was working with yesterday bought their wives/ girlfriends the same bunch of roses after they saw Neils - all the wives were impressed and not one of the men gave Neil the credit:rotfl:

ps - Neil loved his light thing:confused3 ......... sad but true:confused3 - the way to a mans heart - a good steak and a torchy thing:rotfl2:

:lovestruc My heart has just melted!! You are raising Ellis right! He is going to make some girl very lucky one day!

Thank you everyone!! You guys are terrific! I'm getting all teary. :grouphug: We are going to need all the "dust stuff" we can get!

Ok, I just noticed something...

Andy's countdown ticker in his siggie gets us there a week earlier than mine....who's right??????

Jen, when I set up my new countdown clicker it stated 20 months and 2 weeks, that was just a few days ago, then I noticed it suddenly changed the other night. I entered in 10/24/09 when I first selected the sail date.

Thanks eveyone for the aniversary wishes.

Rick and I had filet minion as wel Karen and ahred a bottle of wine...sp my spellings even worse.

Managed to do 30 mins of exercse whilst he watches his programme. My SIL rang to wish us HA as she was out for the evening with her two girlfriends. My brother then knocks on the door 10 mins later with our card. Well he was never one for remembering dates:lmao:

Anyway :grouphug: for Robin. Hope your dad improves soon.

Have a great evening across the pond. Speak tomorrow...hic:rotfl:

:goodvibes I am so proud of my sweet baby girl. Angelina donated blood today for the very first time. Her high school was having a blood drive and she signed up for it last week. Since she is still 17 we had to give our permission for her to donate. Angelina, her best best friend Trish and their video-tech teacher were all scheduled to donate at 8am. It worked out that only Angelina was qualified to donate as Trish's iron count was too low, and the video-tech teacher was denied because of a recent trip to Africa.

Our local community center is having a blood drive tomorrow and I will be donating some of my "O+ life saving juice" on my way home from work.

Kudos to Angelina! :thumbsup2 I remember the day after 9/11 when Kristin and her boyfriend stood in line for 9 hours to donate blood. She was 17 too. No one bothered to make an announcement that if you were under 18, you needed the permission of a parent. She was just a few people away from signing up when she heard that she needed to be at least 18. Her boyfriend did some smooth talking to the lady in front of them and she signed Kristin's release after a quick phone call to me.

Andy!! O+ ??? You're one popular guy at the blood centers, aren't you?:thumbsup2
