I missed seeing the prices, but I have seen the prices of the ones that opened up on the WB. Holy Crow! If that had been the price quoted last year we wouldn't be going.

I looked (not that I was going to book) and a cat 10 was nearly 6K for two adults.......:scared1:

OK, I was a little off on the cat 10 price, not by much though. This is what was posted for the 2008 Eastbound Repo for two people:

Category 07 : Deluxe Stateroom w/ Navigators Verandah $ 7,967.58

Category 08 : Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom $ 7,067.58

Category 09 : Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom $ 6,567.58

Category 10 : Deluxe Inside Stateroom $ 5,567.58

When I first booked a cat 9 for the three of us, the price was around $5200.

Well, It looks like we will have another family joining our cruise. My brother just told me that he wants to go. I'll be making his ressies tommorrow.

Here's my question. What would be the best to do:

I plan on transferring my ressie to DU. Should I make his ressie through DCL then switch both to DU when I am ready -or- just call DU and have them make Rick's ressie then transfer mine over at that time. I was holding control on my ressie for a bit longer, but I really don't need to. (the only thing that I may need is linking my ressie with others for dining... but DU can do that for me.)

Sounds like you may have answered your own question. Unless DU has another time when they have obc offers. Isn't it double obc right now?

I would transfer yours over then after that is done. Put in a request for your brother. On the request page they have a box where you put names and ages in, you can put notes in there. Just note what you need there, probably just note that you need this reservation linked to DU reservation #----, you will get a DU reservation # as well as a DCL number.

Also you can post a thread on the main cruise page, there are DU people there that post and probably give you the best advise.

I'm kind of hoping that they will make our cruise a group cruise. One year I received an email that my rate had just dropped because my reservation was moved into a group rate. I had the SPH room at that time as well, and they don't change your room. I think the only thing was that I didn't get the OBC, but I wound up saving $500 so I was ok with that.

For those of you that have Verizon and have to have your cell on vacation (which we will because the kids will be at home). Disney Magic has been added to their ships that have service. It is $2.49 per minute and .50 to text.
US Virgin Islands are .69 cents per minute and texting is per your plan
British Virgin Islands and the Bahamas $1.29 per minute and texting is not available.

Robin,
I have been able to get Sean to at least read the threads so that he has an idea of who people are. Give him time he'll be posting before we know it!:thumbsup2

By the way would he be Sean2 since medicalman is the original Sean on these boards?:confused3
Or are we calling him DoubleD ?

Oh, you know it's going to be Double D. :goodvibes

He owns it now. :rotfl2:

Where's Robin and Mike????? :confused3

Did I miss them going somewhere???? :)

Come out and play...:cloud9:

After today, I will be unemployed and will be able to visit, promise...

Walt :cool1:

What do you mean, you'll be unemployed? Are you retiring?

Mike was on afternoon turn this week, plus he watched Addison all day before he went to work.

I really don't expect him to be on too much. He's still in KK1 mode. I'm sure he'll pop in once in a while. ;)

OMG... I am really far behind on the posts so I thought I'd just skip around and I come across Walt's quote and a response by Jeff.

"I got it up" :rotfl2: I stopped dead in my tracks and had to search back to see what that was all about.

Found it! Talk about taking things out of context. Do you work for the
Enquirer Jeff. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:
