10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat - Thread #1

I changed the Title of our thread to just read "10/24/2009 Eastern Cruise".

I don't want to scare anyone away with KK2 or Reunion (thanks for the heads up Nancy).

Is everyone O.K. with that? I you think there is a better way to title it, please post it here. I can change it to whatever y'all (glad you're joing us Paige) want.

Also, if you want something added to the first post, let me know. I will set it up as a summary post for those new to the thread. I was thinking of starting the thread with a ficticious name like Konked Kruiser and then giving several people the password for it.

Unfortunately, we're now 4-5 pages into this thread. (btw, I think 40,000 posts will be nothing when we're done with this one)

Just got off the phone with DCL---$50 Castaway Club OBC had already been applied to my stateroom--in addition to the $200 OBC I got when we booked onboard!!

Call DCL, folks. Get your CC OBC!

Ok, here's a question about possibly linking ressies for dinner....

What happens if, say, all of us link ressies? How do they decide who's where for seatings at tables? How would that possibly work?

I'd love to be by everyone for dinner, but I do already have my mom linked with me, and some of Pete's family may book too. I don't know if we'd get scattered around.

There are 8 sideways Cat 11's (talk to Nancy about these - Kristin had one for the 10/20/07 cruise) on Deck 5 Forward.

They are $200 more on the DCL site, so $180 with the 10% onboard discount.
