How much snow do you usually get? This winter snowier than I remember in a while.

We normally get around 25" a year, this year it's been down, I think it is because we are having one of those El Nino(sp) Winters, where our temps stay warmer. I remember back in 1996 we had a Nor'easter go through that dumped 30.7" of sn*w on us, that storm started on a Friday night and finally ended on Sunday afternoon. That was a backbreaker of a storm.

 Oh no, I just saw in our local newspaper that our favorite ice cream custard stand just opened today for the season. The shop closes down for December and January, the re-opens in February. They also have a coupon for $1 off any size ice cream cone. Fight the temptation Andrew, fight the temptation........

Stay strong Andy! You can do it! Stay away from the ice cream!!!!

I get all fussy when people call WDW -Disneyland:mad: - drives me crazy... I HAVE to correct them..."world..its DisneyWORLD you're going to...WORLD".

That drives me crazy too and I always correct them. I know someone that calls the Magic Kingdom Disney World, it took me awhile to figure out what she was talking about and I tried to point out that Disney World is the 4 parks and the Magic Kingdom is one of them but she just doesn't seem to get it :confused3

I'm going to try real hard, but soft serve custard is "our family weakness"........oh, the agony of it all.........:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

We have a lot of custard places in this area and one of them is Al's favorite fast food restaurant, he loves their malts, so we go quite often. I have been trying really hard to resist getting any custard when we go lately. There are some pretty good reduced fat ice creams at the grocery store now so instead of having the custard I have a little ice cream when we get home, I know it's not as yummy as the custard but it's still a nice treat and a fraction of the calories.

Jeff, those tepms are still a lot better than they would be at home!!! :thumbsup2

Yeah, I know. I'm just use to seeing 80's all the time down there.

If it got to 55here right now, I'd be out in shorts. I think my body has become accustom to the sub-freezing temps.

Now if it were 55 in October, I'd be in a heavy jacket.

Milwaukee Theatre.

Cool!!! Have a MAGICal and WONDERful time!!! :thumbsup2

It's crazy here, we are supposed to get up to 57* today, but I'll take it!!! ;)

It would most MAGICal or WONDERful it I were seeing it ON the Magic or Wonder. :thumbsup2

It should be good though. It is DS's first professional musical (did some at the local high school through school). I hope he likes it because Suz and I haven't really gone since he was born.

Hey, we're only 60 away from the next milestone. Should we run it?

BTW, will this mean we're closer to closure? I sorted by post count and there are 3 over 10,000, with one around 26,000.

I can't believe they left the 26,000 open since it is for a cruise from Dec 2004! Although, looking through the last few pages of that thread, it appears they have a Mod posting on it. Guess we need a Mod cruising with us to keep us alive.

Come on, over 3 years old and well over the threshhold? I think it is time to close it down.
