Wow! I just thought I'd see if there was a thread for our cruise yet. I didn't expect it to be longer than the thread for the cruise I just got off! I'll never catch up.

We are fresh off the Wonder as of yesterday. We rebooked onboard for 10/24/2009. My DD 8 & DD 10 will celebrate their 10th and 12th birthdays respectively on the cruise. Same birthday, two years apart. We time things really well.

Our cast of characters includes the following:

EPCOT_VA Looks like the Virginia BOB's are catching up to the Wisconsin BOBs! I'm Nancy and cruising with DH Chuck (Charlie Tuna) our DS Tony and his wife Stacy (ST Cruisers) and our DD Kristin and her husband (at cruise time) Jesse (Team Fun Pants). I'm bound and determined to do a Wonder cruise just once. BTW....we LOVE pictures...and lots of them. Post away!!

The Wonder was our 2nd cruise. We sailed on the Magic from Barcelona last July 07/07/2007 for an 11-Night Med cruise. That was just amazing. We hadn't planned to cruise again for 2 or 3 years. We just got the bug a couple of months ago and signed on for the Wonder 3 Night. A great short getaway.

The cruise was great, but I noticed a difference in the personnel onboard. Does Disney start their new personnel on the Wonder and then the more seasoned folks go to the Magic? Everything was good, but the crew on the Magic seemed a few notches better. I got the sense that a lot of folks were just learning their job on the Wonder. Nobody did anything badly, just not as polished. I'm not sure if we even met our cabin host.

Being return cruisers, we had the benefit of knowing the ship. We knew exactly where we wanted to go and how to get there. Castaway Cay was a blast. We took our DD 8 & DD 10 up parasailing. I even took my video camera up with me.

I have already used my netipot this morning and geez it hurt - bought tears to my eyes.

Karen, I swear I had that salt water running out of my eyeballs one time when I used my Netipot!! Talk about stinging!!

My baby just came to me and showed me she had just pulled her last baby tooth. I have tears in my eyes. How silly!!!!! I can't believe I am going to cry about a tooth. I'll never make it through graduation and forget about marraige!!!!!

I know what you mean Lori. Rachel's 8th grade graduation night is 2 weeks from tonight and I know I'm going to be crying that night. Rach says she and her friends are going to be crying more at their graduation dance, a few nights later, than they are at the actual graduation ceremony, good thing I won't be at the dance because when I see her crying I have a hard time keeping it in.

Karen the pics were wonderful!!! Thank you so much!! I am a HUGH castle and ruins person! It is amazing how well that castle is preserved. You can see the whole layout of the interior. It was like looking at a really detailed pop up book!

Thanks to everyone for the welcomes. I need to get a hosting site and I can post some of my better pictures from the Wonder cruise that we just got off and the Med Cruise last year. The one pic of the Disney Wonder is hosted by a friend of mine on my last cruise thread. Is there a point at which you can post attachments directly without a link? Under my posting rules it says that I Cannot post attachments (but I can link to them).

I'm Matthew, DW is Beth, DD 10 is Megan, and DD 8 is Sarah.

I love the castle pics. We have been to the UK twice and spent one day at Warwick Castle. I'm the familiy genealogist, we came from Somersetshire. I'd love to take a castle touring trip back to England at some point.

When my DD and I saw the B.O.B. thread we thought it was our slogan for this past cruise. For us, B.O.B. was "Back On the Boat". When we were in Barcelona last year at the end of the cruise we came across a DCL Shore Excursion group. I told my two daughters that we just needed to blend into the crowd and we were Back On the Boat! It was Sarah who pointed out that it wouldn't be fair because someone else wouldn't have a room then! Oh well...

I guess I need to set up my signature properly with a B.O.B. logo.

Welcome! I'm Paige and I am cruising with my husband, Rob. Our children are staying home with grandparents. We are also in No. VA--Quantico, to be exact. Rob is a Marine and we have a couple of friends who are cruising but have not signed on yet, Dave and Giap, and he's a Marine, too.

Well, everyone, we survived Emily's 15th birthday party. The kids behaved for the most part, but Rob and I made sure to check on them when they were watching movies in the dark---I only had to say one rosary..

I planted lots of flowers this weekend---wanna see? I'll go take some pics and post in a bit.

Rob left this morning for Arizona. Poor guy, he takes the VRE (train) from Quantico, to the Metro (DC's 'subway'), to a bus to Dulles airport. Sounds like a lot but traffic on the highway is horrible here, so this was his best way to go, especially for me-lol. Well, he got a call when he was on the bus--his flight from Dulles to Denver is cancelled. They can't get him out until 5pm! I offered to go pick him up, but it's such a pain with the traffic, that he said he will just hang out at the USO in the airport all day... I am so glad that this is his last trip for a while. He'll be home in 2 weeks.
