Bye Jen.

I'm out too. Gotta return some phone calls.

One or two cookies will not kill you. Promise! :thumbsup2 The last thing you want to do at this point is deprive yourself. That is the fastest way to fall off the wagon!

I am planning to have 2 cookies' worth of dough (which is my favorite part) or 1 cookies' worth of dough and 1 cookie. I have the points planned out for it....now if I can just stick to the plan! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Break a leg Rach!!! :goodvibes

Sounds fun! I haven't seen that one yet, but I'm sure it will be great.

Tell her to break a leg!

Tell Rachel good luck on her musical! I feel her spring fever. I moved from 7th to 8th grades this year. I have had the same students for two years. I'm ready for several of them to go on to the high school--some of them probably feel the same about me! However, I hope I'm not one of those "strange" teachers. That would be esp. hard for DD next year when she is in 8th.:scared1:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'll pass these messages on to Rach. Thanks everyone! I'll make sure to take some pictures and have her post them here too.

Tanya I bet that would be hard to have some of the same students 2 years in a row :scared1: So does that mean you will have DD as a student or do you have multiple 8th grades and she might have a different teacher? I would think that would be hard to have your own child as a student.

Hi Heather! Yes, we've pretty well mapped things out - there's a link in my signature to our travel blog that lists a lot of the details if you get bored some day and want to check it out.

We've got dinner reservations at Red Square, Isla Mexican Kitchen, Alize, Le' Atelier (Joel Robuchon), and Aquaknox. We've also got a dessert tasting set up at Payard's.

We have our tickets to the Star Trek Experience...we may ride some of those scary rides at the Stratosphere...we're meeting up with some of Jay's online friends...and Jay's aunt and uncle are meeting us for dinner a couple of evenings, too.

Wow...you've really got everything sorted out. Will you have anytime for the slots?

I'm calling in the troops. How about a little "Dust Stuff" for some decent weather for us.pixiedust: :sunny: pixiedust: :sunny: pixiedust:

Nancy here's some pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny: for tomorrow Hopefully the weathermen will be as wrong about tomorrow's forcast as they were about yesterday's, yesterday sure ended up to be a nice day!

How fun!!! Kristin looks like she still has that big, stupid grin on her face!! :teeth: Oh to be young and newly engaged again! :lovestruc

I missed this on the last thread, this must have happened when I missed over a weeks worth of posts!
Belated Congratulations to Kristin and Jesse:love:

Touring the island on a Segway--those stand up things. I just need to show DH and book! I wanted to try parasailing but haven't found that yet!

Now that sounds exciting...full report please and pictures.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Peter Kay! A friend (a mystery man of sorts-lol) put us on to him and even gave us Peter Kay's very funny book! Rob and I have gotten "looks" from people while reading the book in public--we laugh out loud at some of it!:lmao: :lmao: The wedding bit is my favorite of his so far.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Garlic Bread.....it's a taste sensation!:lmao: :rotfl:

That's what we'd do if we went to Vegas....we're not gamblers either. I would like to see the Star Trek thing and just look at all the huge hotels...

Jen...it's really is a great place and Rick and I intend on going back again in the future. Brenda...you'll really enjoy the start trek experience. The monorail was a really great way to get round some on the hotels.

We'll were our tonight...popping over to see Dave and Bev and collect our luggage tags and have a chat about our trip.

So later peeps.

But before I go......
