Are your passes hoppers?

I'll have to look into MVMCP - not sure we'd pay the extra when we get to see it all the week after, but I'd like to see the resorts - that gingerbread house and carousel sound amazing.

we'll miss you when you leave on the 21st:sad1:

Okay - gotta go - later peeps!

Our passes are Hoppers. We bought another set of 10-days back in September. Used I think 2 then and 2 in February. We have a TON of "plus" days left.

If you are not into MVMCP, then we may switch that to the 18th, but then that would mean we're doing the hotel hopping that day.

The nice thing about MVMCP is you get to walk right on all the rides (virtually). All WDW parties are like that.

Plus, like you said, we'd get to see the parade.

I'm still pulling things together. It looks like I will have to book the hotel directly through the AAA website since everywhere else they up the charge as of Friday night. The website doesn't. May look into booking with an actual AAA agent if I can get the parking pass.

Nancy, can I use your AAA agent?

Nope - we're going intalian tonight - gonna blow the diet with pasta and pizza and lots of red wine:rolleyes1

Sounds like a theme - I'm doing Italian tonight as well. :thumbsup2

Looking forward to some good lasagna.

Right now though, we're off to get some grilled cheese at the Cheesy Grill. :thumbsup2

We are heading in the opposite direction. Down to Busch Gardens for us! Have fun!!

Have a good time Shelley!:yay:

Sorry about the flight. I think DL will be open until at least 10pm if not later
We get in @ 12:30 and figured we would hit DCA then go over to DL if we feel like it.

2wks from today I will be in DL w/a friend!

Give Mickey a squeeze from me plz. :cutie:

Thats why Imade mine - I knew I'd come back of the Eastern saying ..."I forgot to..." etc otherwise.

I think being the first cruise last time we were a bit in awe of the whole thing... hopefully if I plan a bit more then we'll get to do more onboard. I need to study navigators and if Cass makes our "Bobigator" spreadsheet at least I'll know where I'm meant to be on what day:rotfl2:

Bobigator? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Oh yeah, our friend Mod Mary is sailing on the Magic today, so I don't know who is taking over for her, unless she will be checking the threads during her cruise, and if so, that would be such a bummer for her............:sad2:

If you happen to read this Mary............ and have a MAGICal cruise......:thumbsup2

Have a great cruise Mod Mary!! Don't forget. Book the Oct 24th, 2009 Eastern. :dance3:

Cheryl, the dessert buffet is the same evening on the Eastern as it is on the Western - Thursday night at Lumiere's at 11PM.

Jay and I went to it when we sailed the Western in 2004 but didn't think it was good enough to warrant a second visit when we sailed East the following year. And we always have late dining so it's kind of hard (even for us) to leave enough room for dessert after finishing dinner shortly before the buffet starts.

We also weren't impressed with the dessert buffet. But since we missed it on the 05 cruise we wanted to partake. You're right, long lines and the desserts weren't worth it. The strawberries were yummy but that's it. Everything else got tossed. We won't waste our time with it in 09.

Sorry to hear your flights have been messed up Jeff- at least you found out intime:thumbsup2

We were on a flight once - we had to get back in the middle of the night, travel up to East midlands airport (about an hour away) board there then wait on the tarmac for ages, fly back to Birmingham airport (15 mins drive) to pick up more passengers but they wouldnt let us board in Birmingham:rolleyes: - wheres the logic in that?:confused3

Same on the return aswell

Kristin was on a flight from Milwaukee to Orlando right after 9/11. She ended up going to Louisville first, then Houston, then finally to Orlando. That made no sense whatsoever.

Jeff, hope your plans work out for you.;)

Sure you can use her. I was just there changing Stacy's last name on our cruise info. Tell her you know me. (Yeah, that'll get him nowhere  ).

Name of few things you forgot to bring on your last cruise that you won't miss this time around. (Again, could be helpful to our first timers).

I forgot my moisturizer, hairspray, and a waterproof watch for Chuck. Most importantly I missed a picture with Cass!! That will NOT ever happen again.

Well, I make a list about 12 months ahead and add to it until the day we leave, so I've gotten it down to a science and didn't forget anything. But on past cruises, Rob forgot dress socks and was stinking mad that he had to wear white socks with his black suit. :lmao:

If anything, I bring too much.

Are the navigators likely to change between now and when we cruise much:confused3

And can anyone remind me of the link to see them:confused3

I REALLY need to sort out my favourites again - I cant find anything:rolleyes:

Yup, they are on the Bob site. It's a link to the Navs on the DIS :thumbsup2 Some things will change by next October, but for the most part, it should stay the same.

I think this is the most current decision.

Ok, I will add that to the site. Boy, I have some work ahead of me...adding 3 Bobers, adding a celebration page, changing the meets page, adding Bobigators :upsidedow

Yeah, the only way I knew is Suz' friend from Vegas is coming in at the end of May to watch DS for 2 weeks (he's out before summer camp starts) and her flight back got changed. I received an email for that since I paid for her flight.

So as I'm talking to her, I said I should check our flights and see if it got changed again (it moved by 30 minutes once, but it was still non-stop). I log on and see they put us on the connector.

They never called me or sent me an email. What is the point of having email and phone notification numbers if they aren't going to call/email you? AirTran is notorious for this. They won't contact you until after the last change (we had 7 changes for our flights for the Jan '07 cruise).

Luckily I found it quickly and hopefully before anyone else on the 8:45 p.m. flight, so all the seats weren't taken yet.

It was still showing the non-stop last Saturday because I called to see what it would cost to have the points put back into my account or move to a different flight. AirTran is only $120 to fly one way, far less than the 1% you try to get when using miles (it takes 15,000 miles for a one-way). My guess is it changed Thursday night during their update, and luckily I had another flight that changed (our friends) that tipped us off.

Jeff, sorry to hear about that. That really sucks that they did that but what would pi$$ me off is that they didn't even contact you. That happened to me in 2005, they removed our flight to WDW. The only reason I found out was because I was checking on our flights to see if the price had changed. I couldn't find our flight and ended up calling Westjet so we could book another flight. It was almost full and couldn't guarantee us seats together

You would think they had the decency to contact you to tell you that your flight doesn't exist anymore

no way my obsessive compulsive wife forgot anything.
course she may wish she would have left underdog behind.

Hi All.........

After making the deliveries today, I came home had some lunch, you guessed it, a pizza, then took a two hour nap while Hazel went to visit one of her sisters. Angelina is off for the day attending a Chili Cook Off with some friends.

After dinner, I was busy capturing pics of the Magic sailing today for Mary. Now that, that is done, I can relax a bit............:lmao:

You, are running away with this thread, Sir Jeff.............:worship: :worship: :worship:

Looks like this thread has pretty much died tonight, see ya tomorrow.......:wave2:

Ok Brenda, I just checked your blog and there's no trippie there yet  Come on, you've been home for a full day now!!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hi all,

Just back from Tallahassee, few minor glitches. The van we were suppposed to borrow wouldn't start so now we have to make another trip. Couldn't fit the bed, bike and chairs. It was 80 degrees and we had to clear out a third floor apt with out an elevator. We took lots of cap & gown pictures all over FSU. We also had more packing & cleaning than I expected. So we left at 6 am and got back at 6:30pm. We are tired and my house is such a mess.

But it's nice to have them home.

Elton John was graet last night, but two late nights in a row are killing me.

We were going to work in the yard and put the edging around the planter beds, but it is just too windy out today (and cold and overcast).

Tomorrow we have a chance for snow. :scared1:

Today my arms got pink while sitting out in the very warm sun during Alex's softball game. Then it rained but I think tomorrow is supposed to be nice again.:thumbsup2 Hope you all don't get snow.:scared1:

Hi Shelley

How close to Williamsburg are you? We went to Busch Gardens in Williamsburg when we were there 8 years ago, wow I can't believe it was that long ago. We really liked the Busch Gardens in Williamsburg alot, even more than the one in Tampa. I'd like to get back to that area sometime soon!

Have a great time!

Come back! You could visit lots of us while here!:thumbsup2
