Unfortunately, I not only provide the credit card, but I also have to do all the planning. If Suz did it, we'd pay double for the trip. She just goes and books it. I shop it around. My motto (and everyone in my office know it) is "it's all about the deal".

Sometimes the deal is better than the vacation and you just go because it was so cheap. Kinda like Suz having to buy something we don't need because it was on sale and she had a coupon.

Awesome - I think you're the first man I've met that truly understands the essence of bargain hunting! :cheer2:

Half the fun of shopping or planning a vacation is the planning, or shopping around!

Ooohhh....hey, I like the sound of a Mexico DISmeet!

We went to Playa del Carmen in 2001 and it was a great trip. My MIL and FIL have been several times - they wanted the whole family to go in 2009, but we sort of messed things up! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Of course, that was my thought on booking for '09...why go to Mexico when we could cruise?!?!?!

Playa is awesome. I think it would be cheaper than Puerto Vallarta, but both are inexpensive. The water is much prettier in Playa though (but it can be big waves in some spots).

I would love to do Ixtapa or Huatulco, but I think those would get pricey.

O.K. then, one DIS meet at WDW and one in Mexico. (just kidding)

That's me too! I am a coupon queen! But I don't just buy things to buy them. We keep it simple at house. If something comes in something else better be going out!

Yeah, she gave me the "bargaining" feature when she took the "boys" away. Or maybe it is Darwin at work and I lost the "boys" so I developed the female's bargain hunting skills. :lmao:

Where is the Christmas shop you are both talking about? I love Christmas shops!

Yes, so do I. Need to visit the one at Old Town (if its still there) as we need some bulbs for our US christmas light string.

When you go to their homepage scroll down towards the bottum and they have a section Orlando hotels near Disney. I'm still tempted to book the Gaylord Palms and see what that is all about. For the night of Dec. 19 I can get it for $209.60 including tax but that is almost double what we'd be paying at the Fairfield Inn on I-Dr. but it is only 1 night :confused3

If you stay there at Christmas, be sure to visit ICE!

Ok...

research I've done so far tells me..

Seaworld isnt too bad on xmas day, and Busch isnt too bad on xmas day.

The 18-22nd should be fairly ok, then 24th onwards just forget it:rotfl2: - ok...24th onwards - I shop;)

ONLY 385 MORE POSTS TIL THE NEXT MILESTONE...

I wonder if I can get there before someone joins me:rolleyes:
