3 Months until we land in Southern CA. :cool1:

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I just spoke with the woman from the Radison again. She can block however many rooms we think we might need at this time at the $109.00 + tax rate and then we have until 6 weeks before hand to make our individual reservations (she said the date for that would be Sept. 11, 2009). When I get back to her on how many rooms to block she will send me a "contract" including the code that I would then forward on to the people on the list for you to each make your own individual reservations at the group rate. The cancellation policy is the same as their normal cancelation policy, you must cancel by 6pm the day of arrival but in order to maintain the group rate we need to have at least 10 rooms that get reserved. Right now according to the list I have we are at 14 rooms but there were a few more that were "possibles". I don't know if any of the "possibles" want me to include them in the block and then they'd have time to figure out what they want to do. I told her I'd check on this with you guys again and call her back again in a few days. If we block 20 rooms and then only 15 of us reserve the other rooms that are not reserved go back into their system on Sept. 11, 2009 and that rate would be gone for any BOBers that didn't reserve.
I'll post the list I have again. If I am forgetting anyone or anyone else wants to be added as a "definite" let me know or Cass also has the info on her site and I'll keep monitoring the list on there too. If any of you are thinking there is a good chance you would want to stay at the Radisson the night before let me know in the next few days so that we include enough rooms in the group block that you'd then be able to get in on this rate.

I hope all this makes sense :goodvibes

Here's the list of BOBers that have said they want to stay at the Radisson the night before the cruise:

Mike & Robin (2 people, 1 room)
Jeff (3 people, 1 room)
Cass (6 people, 2 rooms)
Nancy (2 people, 1 room)
Tony & Stacy, Jesse & Kristin (4 people, 1 room)
Andy (3 people, 1 room)
Andy's mom (2 people, 1 room)
Joanne (2 people, 1 room)

Becky & Sean (2 people, 1 room)

Hey, and I have 14 financial statements to get out by tomorrow. I've been procrastinating on those for a few days now.

The is DIS is much more fun.
Tell me about it, I have 50+ "Gee your kid may not pass the 8th grade" letters I have to send out certified tomorrow.

Running in to say hello and good night! I've also updated the blog with our dessert tasting at Payard's. Come visit us and take a look at all the things that helped me blow my diet! :rotfl2:

Now I just need to start researching Universal to see what's all new  Have you been recently Karen? Any must do's? I was trying to read some on the Universal board here on the DIS and see if they have anything special for Christmas but haven't gotten very far, do you know?

We havent been to Universal for a few years. Ellis was about 15 months when we last went. Neils parents came with us that year so they looked after Ellis for a while so we got to ride the coasters together.

They do the Grinchmas at xmastime - decorate the Zeus area - dont think theres much else. I was intersted in booking a character brekkie there, but I've read that the Scooby Doo one isnt very good:confused3

Voucher is a waste of time. No good discounts are on it.

:sad2:

Ummmm, not really, I'm not like Karen...........:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

10 pages to read this morning:woohoo:

Just a question out of left field. Has anyone ever heard of a "sot" before? I am just wondering if it a cajunism.

:confused3 nope... i read further on so I do now:thumbsup2 - we usae the term "lush" for the same thing

Ewwwwwww!

Good morning people:goodvibes

Andy - where did you put my sunshine? - did you steal it while I was sleeping? Its cloudy today:rolleyes: - my one day where I DONT have to stay in for deliveries or backdoors and the blooming clouds have arrived and scuppered my plans for sunbathing by the gym pool:rolleyes:

That means I might have to work out instead:scared1: :scared:
