I agree, we have never gone on vacation without the kids. We have so much fun, and the kids talk about them all of the time. I know that Mackenzie appreciates, in the Mother's Day card she made me, she told me I'm the best mother because I make her favorite things to eat, and I take her on cruises & WDW...

That's sweet.

DS remembers the trips after about age 2 or so. I think it is more that I remember the trips. Like I said when this came up, I still remember his first trip to WDW. Brings a tear to my eye everytime. Just the way their eyes get so wide and are into everything.

Jeni is her best friend from high school. Nico has Kristin and Jeni as "CO" because she knew Jeni wouldn't do anything for her like Kristin would. She made them "CO" to spare feelings although Kristin never thought she would be asked to be a MOH anyway. It's a girl thing Jeff.

I wasn't going to come out and say it early, but Jeni IS the MOH and Kristin is being used.

I hope Kristin doesn't feel like she has to put Nico on as a Co-MOH in her wedding. Her SIL sounds like mine. A real B.

Hi Janice! I was just ready to send off a PM to you and Mark. Since we both have the same camera I thought I'd ask you guys first. Is there a HUGE delay between the time you snap the pic and the time the flash actually goes off and captures the image? Mine is unbelievably long. Like almost 3 seconds inbetween. Doesn't make for good candid shots that way.

Any ideas??

I don't know that is quite that long of a delay, but hang on, Mark is playing w/it right now.

How are wedding plans coming? Did she set a date yet?

Mark says that the red eye slows it down by some....more to come.

I'll be sure to check that out too Janice. Jeff is here too now. I think he posted something on KK1 about camera delays. Jeff? Any input?

Shutter Lag is one thing to look for when you buy a digital camera. But if you have it in automatic or maybe a sports mode, it should speed it up. Check the manual to see if it address it.

I know one of our cameras will get funky every once in a while and it bugs me.

I remember following the EB Repo back in 2005. After watching it go through the Canal, Suz said we should have done that. She then said no matter what, if it goes again, we're going.

Your are correct I wish we were going, but we have our DL trip next month and then we are home bound for awhile. We have had no many things around the house fall apart in the last month that we need to pay off the cards before we do anything large again.
