Yes, they will do that. They offer free shuttles to and from the port. They open at 8am but beware that around that time it will be very busy with people getting off the cruise picking up cars.

Yeah, and they don't have a FastBreak person there. We've got stuck in that line a couple of times with only one person working.

That's why we switched to Avis. They usually have 2 people working and when I pick up afterwards, they have my car ready through their preferred service.

Nothing wrong with Budget, we actually use them when doing WDW, just the post had be slow a couple times for us, but then again, we always go real early and get stuck with all the people coming off the ships. Guess that's more our fault than theirs.

If you go to Google Maps and type in the Budget address

8401 ASTRONAUT BLVD.
CAPE CANAVERAL, FL 32920 US

You can see a "street view" and you can literally walk from Budget to the Radisson virtually!!! How cool is that!! Just keep hitting the NW button to follow the road.

Also, you can just go to the satellite view and see the Budget building and then look NW and you can see the Radisson

My street hasn't been done yet.

Wonder if they did the port yet? Wonder if one of the ships was in when they did it.

robin honey, i was trying to save ourselves the shame of airing our dirty laundry but if you want me to tell the story, i will.
see, i was a city kid and in grade school they used to bus us "city kids" out to the country once a week for six weeks to see the workings of a farm.
thats where i met my sweet polly. we were both in 1st grade. the first time i saw her she was up to her ankles in cow manure, but even then i knew i loved her.
she used to invite me over to the barn for a "roll in zee hay"(young frankenstein) somehow i thought that meant something different, but we really did just "roll in zee hay".
well were like 2 peas in a pod till one day i skinned my arm at it left a big scar.
well the girl we called bigred really dug dudes with scars so she really started
paying a lot of "attention" to me.
well robin and her had countless battles over underdog over the next few years and i tried to be a peacemaker. i'd say" girls, theres plenty of underdog to go around."
i was always in trouble with the teachers over this and because of it, they thought it would be better to leave me back a grade.(thats why she graduated before me)(not really)

but robin won out and we've been living happily ever after for the last 30 plus years, have 2 great kids a grandaughter and soon a grandson.

underdog does have a few health issues, the biggest one being his insatiable
addiction to cinnamon, but he has been able to keep that addiction under control.(for now anyway)

all kidding aside, she knows my sweet tart is my world, and i know i married WAYYYYY out of my league.

I didn't realize that Budget is so close to the Radisson. We might have to give them a try next year instead of Avis.

Good morning/afternoon everyone
The last 2 days at work were crazy and then I had a lot of chauffering of Rachel to do in the evenings so I just didn't get a chance to get on here, looks like I have lots of catching up to do.

I did get the email with the group rate info from the Radisson:
"Guest Room Rates:

We are happy to offer you $109.00 per night. Rate includes Accommodations for one night, Free Transportation to and from Port Canaveral, and Free Parking while their on their cruise.

Rates are net, non-commissionable and do not include 11% tax."

This beats the group rate at the Country Inn & Suites by $30.00!

Those that are interested in staying at the Port the Fri. night before the cruise let me know if you want me to pursue this at this time.

I'm going to go back and try and see if anyone else added themselves in the last few days to the list we had going.

we paid $99 last oct. internet rate. we got a car from budget at airport, dropped it off the day of the cruise down the road from raddison and took budgets shuttle over to the terminal. worked great!!
just like cass told us it would.

I’m sure everything will be ok one day. There are a lot of unwanted opinions, and hurtful remarks being made right now from some family members who have no right to make these comments in the first place. I just wish people would remember that it’s not about them, rather it’s all about Kristin and Jesse.

none of my dads family would come to our wedding because we didnt get married in a catholic church. to this day i havnt forgiven them.

I just lost the sound and looked and the webcam is black They did say they will post when they get home how to do this because alot of DVCers are interested in doing this when they are at WDW so if I ever see a link to a WDW webcam again I can let you guys know.
