Wow! How scary!! :scared1: I'm going to have to make sure to be more careful in the future - I had no idea that there were such sensitivities!

We just walked into a restaurant bar on holiday once in Greece. As we sat down at what appeared to be a clean table his reaction started. Within 30 seconds his eye was so swollen he couldnt see out of it.:sad2: There must have been traces on the table or chair arms.

Next time you fly, take a close look at the buckle on the seat belt. - the underside is usually gross! - especially if its been lubricated - all the gunk gets stuck to the grease

Wow - what a lot of posts since last night (of course, Karen with her marathon posting on Page 159 helped a lot !!:surfweb:)

I'll play the "Excursions" game! Here are our plans:

St. Maarten:
Butterfly Farm (but I'm kind of rethinking this.... kind of long and I don't know if the kids will want to do this.....)

St. Thomas:
Trunk Bay Beach
Skyride to Paradise Point (if we get back from Trunk bay in time)

Castaway Cay:
Parasailing (in the morning)
Snorkeling/hanging at the beach - the rest of the day!

Ewwwwwwwwwwwww!!

Has he always had nut sensitivites or has it gotten worse over time?

My SIL ate seafood - shrimp, scallops, clams, crab legs etc - her whole life and when she hit around 40 years old, she started having small reactions when she ate it. Then, each time, it got worse and worse. Now she can't even eat french fries that are fried in the same grease as shrimp! :scared1:

That's a really scary thing (and she's a nurse!)

I forgot to play !

St John DCL trip

St Maarten - beach - probably Orient

Castaway - find a lounger and lie there drinking Konked Koolers:goodvibes,
put Ellis in the kids club and go to adult beach for an hour to see what its like

He's always had it since a toddler. No-one else in the family has it, didnt eat nuts whilst pregnant, absolutely no reason for it:confused3.... God just wanted me to spend half my life reading food labels:rotfl:

Seafood is a common allergy too. Does she get anaphalaxis or just smaller reactions? Who'd want to eat fishy dead bodies anyway:scared:
Aren't these the same people who didn't send you your tickets late??

Yup! gotta luv 'em:rolleyes:

"Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing problems.

Please try again later."

Virgin annoy me:rolleyes:... I have been looking at the same message now for 40+ minutes:rolleyes:

You check yourself in, (saves on someones salary)
You print your own boarding pass (saves on someones salary and printing costs)

They'll be getting us to fly the plane next:rolleyes:

Hi Karen ,

Thats good news about the seats.

They must have known we were the minstrel twins !!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

yes all boading passes in hand.

i dont have my holiday head on yet i am mega busy at work but i will have when we see eachother tomorrow.

Have a safe trip to manchester

sean

Cath - we've been changed too!

We're on 22 abc! - I'll have to throw those Minstrels sideways accross the plane now!

Were you able to print off your boarding passes? - it wont let me?:confused3

I was hoping it would let me do it, because then we dont have to get there til 1 1/2 hours before

Is anyone else doing the Butterfly farm tour on St. Maarten? Has anyone done it in the past??

I dont fancy it - too many little flappy things near your head:scared: - knowing me I'd probably swat them:rolleyes1:rotfl:

I was thinking the same thing!!!:rotfl2: Becca HATES bugs, but for some reason, she likes Butterflies..... I hope she will do good.

We aren't really "beach" people and we are already doing that at St. John and CC - so we wanted to get some "culture". PLUS, since it's our first cruise (and our first stop) wanted to stick with a Disney Excursion to be safe....

I really need to stop second guessing our shore excursion plans.... Just need to stick with what we have and enjoy it (I tend to overthink things... can you tell????)

I'm off to prepare for a meeting - hope to be back to catch a googley!! :sail:

Checking in from work...

I just sent a text message to my sister saying I feel like a team that has made the playoffs and I am just waiting for the "season to end" until the real fun starts.

Hey Chris!! I feel the same way!! I am actually trying to get some real work done (but I have some NOISY cubicle neighbors....)

Don't they know I'm trying to PRETEND to work??? :rotfl2:

I just pulled out the DIS tag gifts that we are giving each family. I got nervous as it took me a few minutes to find them!!!
