amazing race was a bummer tonite.:sad2:

Darn it...forgot to set the DVR :sad2:

Where is everyone at? Only twenty two more posts until another googley. Well I started my day by going on an ambulance run. I finally made it back home at one thirty am, just in time to wake up my wife who had to start work at three am. I slept from three am until about 9am. Then it was time to empty the garbages, do dishes, and laundry. I also went grocery shopping. Then goofy4ever and I went to office max to get ink cartridges refilled, bestbuy to pick up her cpu which was being fixed, kohls to do a little shopping(she bought stuff---my shopping spree is next saturday), and arbys for a midday snack. Then my wife came home and we made brats and hot dogs on the grill. Our two families had dinner together. I called it a super-mini dismeet. Then we completed a few more door signs as well as started our t-shirts. Our front logos our complete. We only had one very small glitch. But we are going to leave it because it is so small. Saturday night we are hopefully going to finish our t-shirts and pack. Oh, I am so ready for this vacation, I even had a couple of alcoholic beverages tonite.

Had a great time at the mini-dis meet ;)

I've got 7 days left.

Alright fellow dissers. We did eight six pages in six days. At that rate, we should be closing this thread in twelve more days. That would be right around the twenty third. We can do this team!!

Good night all, been a long sports day in this house,

Happy Monday for all you that are off!!!!

Happy Monday for those of us who don't work for the government or a bank and have to work!! Only one more Monday after tomorrow!!!

Can anyone give any guidance from past cruises about if nice jeans and say a polo or nice shirt are appropriate for dinner. Trying to decide what will be needed clotheswise and how many dress pants or in the case of my wife how many dresses will be needed for the dinners aboard the ship. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.:cheer2::cool1:

Watched the Cardinals beat the Texans today. It was a closer game than it should have been. The Cardinals never make winning look easy.:cheer2::cheer2:

I'm just now looking at the old thread. (It's somewhat hard to find now. I see we were listed among the longest threads!)

Started it on March 4th, 2006, 3 years and 7 months ago!

Here's a run down of some of that threads highlights up to page 200. (I can't possibly look at all the postings. I'm getting stir crazy!) Looking at only those who were on that cruise and booked on this one:

Me (started the Thread) 3/2006
Nancy- posted the same day
Jeff- posted 4/2006
Cass- posted 7/2006
Chris (AFEG)- posted 8/06
First Pic of Kira (Ultrasound) 9/06
Mike and Robin 9/06
Followed quickly by Karen 9/06
Lori (goofyfreak) 9/06
Heather 10/06
Cheryl (Actually, Rachael) 10/06
firefighter chris 11/06
Kira's Birth announcement 11/23/2006
Sean (medicalman) 12/06
Walt & Di 12/06
Paige 1/07
Karen hogs an entire page 1/07
On 2/06 Jeff had tops in posts 384 while I had done a measly 35 in 11 mos!

Looking back on those really brings me back. I realize a few things. I post a lot more now then I ever did on that first thread... I think that this cruise thread is MUCH longer than the KK thread if you place all 29 threads end to end. (Jeff would know for sure on that one) I miss Chris and Jeff posting. I can't wait to see you guys in a little over a week.

My hubby will be wearing black trousers, shirt and tie for formal, semi formal, and Palo, and casual trousers and polo for the other evenings.

They have frowned on Jeans in the past, but I think it's pretty relaxed now.
