I just wanted to stop by and say hi. My name is Samantha and my family will be on the B.O.B. cruise. There will be 6 of us: me, DH Jason, DS Austin - 12, DD Kennedy - 9 and DMIL Linda and DFIL Bob. This will be the first cruise of any sort for all of us and we are SOOOO excited!! :cool1:

Hopefully, we will get to meet some of you BOBers. I will admit I've been lurking on this thread, but was too shy to say hi. I'm starting to panic a little thinking about all I need to do between now and October 23 when we fly out, but it's a good panic.

Can't wait until October 24!!

Hi Samantha! We have similar-aged kids cruising, too :thumbsup2

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing you in TWO WEEKS!! :woohoo::woohoo:

:cheer2:We're Ready!!:cheer2:

But I'd better clean my camera lens first.

Hi everyone! Happy 14 day countdown!

anyone gets bored...Cassie has updated their website.princess::cutie:
www.lumanimagery.com

they are doing weddings now.:thumbsup2

I checked out the website! Wonderful! I can't tell you how frustrating Dakota's senior picture experience has been. $1100.00 and 9 weeks later and I still don't have the portrait for the wall! :headache:

I've spent the week getting all of the FE gifts finished and organized. For my fellow FE exchangers, I haven't done this before and I need some advice. I've done cabin gifts, little boy and little girl gift bags and teenager gift bags. I've got them tagged by name and cabin #, organized by floor and day of delivery, but I've got a big box which is pretty heavy. What should I do to get it across the country? Have one of my strong teenage sons carry it on the plane, ship it to the ship (I think this option may be out due to timing) or ship it to Saratoga Springs for our pre-cruise stay? Any advice would be appreciated! PM or e-mail me if you have any!

I haven't started packing yet. Still working on things like dog vaccinations, kid dress clothes, homecoming dance, football game, and college applications. Three of Dakota's applications need to be in by October 31st and since we leave on the 21st time is ticking! No wonder I feel all anxiety ridden! I think it might be time to plug in the Margaritaville and grab the lemonade and vodka! :woohoo:

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Here are some pictures of Lancaster County, PA Amish Country. These were taken in the town of Intercourse. No I am not a perv, at least not right now. :lmao:

Well Sheri---this is our first disney cruise---and we just kinda included ourselves in the dis tag gift game:laughing:---letting the girls give gifts to the kids on the list---:banana::banana: but if you can get your stuff in a priority mail flat rate box it can be there in 2-3 days---the biggest flat rate box is 12 x 12 x 5 1/2--and it mails for $13.50 online or $14.95 at post office---and its for as much as you can cram into that box-----or you could ship 2 boxes if you have to----probably cheaper than if you sent it priority mail in a regular box cause then it cost by weight------I sell stuff on ebay----so thats the way I go when I have something heavy----its usually cheaper----and like it said it will be there in 2-3 days---------------:dance3: Anyways hope this helps:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Hi Wendi,

First off, Welcome!:wave2: We love having more friend to play TAG with us!

Thanks for the advice! I may try getting to the post office and seeing how big a box I can get. My problem is that I have glow sticks in all of the kiddo gift bags and I want to make sure that they don't get bent or activated in shipment. Maybe if I did 2 of the 12x12 boxes and had everything wrapped in bubble tape it would work. What do you think?

Should I send it to Saratoga Springs or to the ship? I remember reading somewhere that there is a cut off date for things shipped to the port.

How are you doing getting things done on the spur of the moment?

Hi everyone. Just finished packing most things. Some things you can't pack until last minute.

The dress clothes are about ready, but not going into the suitcase until just before we leave. I really don't care to iron everything over again. :headache:

Still have to finish distags. Hoping to do that tomorrow.:banana:

Has anyone told you lately how much they appreciate that?:rotfl2:

Cassie's clients really appreciate her efficiency. She does her own editing because she doesn't like anyone touching her work.

For a 22 yr old, she and her new husband have done rather well for themselves. :)
