Jen, I don't recall seeing the one of Thomas asleep. That is toooo cute.

It's probably been a long time since I posted it....but it was one of my favorites from that cruise. I found out that the facepainting was from being one of the "lost boys" earlier in the day.

Yeah, thanks to my employer giving me a mandatory 8 hours off each week.

I'm going through the same thing but with snorkeling---we signed up for one excursion--but really want the coral world marine one--so we are hoping that we can still get that one---but hubby wants to snorkel---and Im not much of a water person---I can swim--but don't like deep water much---I know that if I can just get over the fear----It would be amazing to see the sea life under water----I guess I will just have to wait and see---- I really would like to see some sea turtles

I'm definitely not a water person either... hope you guys do get to see the sea turtles (it must be an amazing sight)...I'm too paranoid to go snorkeling...I tried it once at CC, but that was MANY years ago (during our honeymoon).

Does anyone else feel "wierd" that the cruise is so close now?

Cant believe its actually almost here - we've been waiting 2 years and now its 2 weeks

I do...I almost feeling a bit sad that it's here because I know the vacation will be over all too soon; I am going to make it a 'must do' to just relax and take in the moment and enjoy it before it's over.

Queenie - our entire FAMILY is doing it!! We are so excited I can't stand it. We have to do it in Tandem with the girls since they aren't over the weight limit. I am TERRIFIED of heights, but I know it will be so much fun. I told Becca (my youngest) that it's like flying a kite - except WE are the kite!!

LOL, that's exactly it, we're the kites ...I think the lack of control is what makes me all antsy. I don't know...we'll see...

That shall pass as a fleeting moment, when we are enjoying our favorite drinks
with our new and old bober friends...

Here's another Tip:

When snorkeling, take along a can of the squeeze cheese. The fish go absolutely NUTS when you squeeze it underwater! I learned that back in the day when I did scuba diving.

Gross!! The thought of squeeze cheese in water is nasty. That's almost as bad as wet peanut butter!!

Gross!! The thought of squeeze cheese in water is nasty. That's almost as bad as wet peanut butter!!

Nothing gross about it - it comes out, and the fish go into a feeding frenzy for it. It's really cool to watch! It does make the water a little cloudy with (fake) cheese bits, but not nearly as bad as CC in the afternoon!

yes there is a bar, I have not been to Megans but in May when we were there the taxi driver told us magans was a lot more crowded.

I got some packing done last night

I put all the pirate gear, most of the dress clothes, swimsuits, door magnets, pop up hamper, Ziplocks, wipes, and filled the toiletry bag with a bunch of stuff.

THAT took a couple hours.. I have so much left to pack!! DH was mocking me the whole time for packing "so early".. like we were leaving today.

I say laugh on, mister.. you'll be the one running around like a headless chicken the night before we leave...

I did all of my ironing a few days ago. And Laura finally put aside all of my shorts. (got cold enough to switch to pants) Almost ready!


I'm enjoying all the pictures. This 8-day stretch is killing me. (6 of 8 today) I'm feeling a bit out the loop.
