So, we have the Tiara Tarts meet, the kids meet, the Radisson meet (for some), are we going to have a Googley Girl meet???

Yes, yes, yes Mike - we know... pillowfight on Deck 10 for the ULTIMATE championship!! Are you the referee?? :rotfl: :cloud9:

And exercise meets in the morning and watching the sun come up on deck in our jammies:goodvibes

Oh! Hate to multipost so much, but I have a happy announcement to make!!!!

My Cruise documents have been delivered !!:dance3::cheer2:

Dave is home today on a day off and I asked him if he opened them.... he said "What - do you think I'm STUPID???" :confused3 :scared1: We are going to open them all together when I get home tonight!!

And no.... I'm not pregnant - ... announcements like that make me :scared1:

YAY!:cool1:

The info on Halloween activities talked about costumes. I know a lot of us are planning pirates, but anyone going to bring a non-pirate costume for the costume contest???

Unfortunately, my "most original" costume now fits my DD better than me. I dressed up as a dalmation a long time ago for work. Totally awesome costume!

In the interest of saving space in our luggage, I think I am going to have Dave and I use our pirate costumes. Becca wants to bring her Wonder Woman costume (from last year) and I may have Abby bring her costume from last year too..... (they are small...and easier to pack!)

All right...here's mine. In 2 parts and slightly abbreviated:

Clothes:
swimsuits (2)
rashguard
hat
BOB t-shirt
lanyard
pj's
khakis
black pants
shorts
pirate night gear
aqua socks
polos
t-shirts
dress shirts
coat/tie
dresses
tiara
sandals
dress shoes
Halloween costume

Toiletries:
prescription meds
dramamine*
toothbrushes
toothpaste
shampoo
conditioner
body wash
SUNSCREEN
aloe vera gel
combs
razors
dental floss
rolaids
deodorant
tylenol *
aleve
anti-bac wipes
bandaids
first aid cream
makeup*
ponytail holders
barrettes
childrens Tylenol

Ah, shoot Jen, my clothes list is going to be much longer than that.
I don't even want to type it out it'll make my fingers go numb:rotfl2:

Well looks like I owe you all a poem. Here's one I prepared earlier.

On 21st October, we leave for Orlando
To join a group of DIS friends, so here we go!

2 years we’ve been planning, this trip on the boat
No bad weather on the horizon to spoil this trip, we hope!

We’ll be gone, in total, a whole 16 days
It’s hard to keep all the excitement at bay!

Disney’s Boardwalk will be our home before and after the cruise
So we hope we won’t experience any pre and post-Mickey Mouse blues

24th October is our sailing date
From Port Canaveral to the Caribbean, Ahoy there Mate.

St Maarten in the Caribbean is our first port of call
After completing 48 hours or 2 days at sea, in full.

St Thomas/St John is our next full days stop
And that’s only one nights, skip and a hop.

And then after another full day at sea
Castaway Cay is where we will be

7 days is not long to experience so much fun
But sailing with a great group of friends, it just has to be done

The BOB’ers is our name, but what does this mean?
A Bash on the Boat – is it too extreme?

Tag gifts, lots of meets and plenty of chatter
Is what we expect, from this group of mad hatters.

Mickey, Minnie, Pluto too will greet us a long the way
And lots of other characters will make our day.

And after the cruise is over and done, will we all stay in touch?
That’s the million dollar question. Am I expecting far too much?

A trip to see my US sister is next on the cards
But that’s a bit further than our two back yards

So I finish this little ditty, right now, right here
And say that I hope it brought you much cheer

Oh and BTW

WOW! Am I out of touch and far behind!!!:sad2:

I am soooo excited though!:cool1: Cruise docs!!!!

SO... I know many (many... many...many) months ago there was discussion of BOB trick-or-treat. Well, it seems to have fallen off the radar and now would be superfluous anyway. Disney is having Halloween activities. So, does everyone agree to no BOB trick-or-treat??

And... We have our Tag Gifts!!! (I was getting a bit worried about getting it done!)

Nope no Bob trick or treating

here you go Heather

I'm bringing my costume for MNSSHP. I'll be a flapper, but I'm not wearing it on the ship.

Unfortunately, my "most original" costume now fits my DD better than me. I dressed up as a dalmation a long time ago for work. Totally awesome costume!

We're bringing a separate costume for DS (Grandma made him a Jedi costume!) but we will most likely be in pirate gear....

Ah, shoot Jen, my clothes list is going to be much longer than that.

The clothes list is a bit abbreviated - my actual packing list is on a spreadsheet with 5 columns, and lists the quantities of each item for each person. I have to write out all the little miscellaneous stuff so I don't forget something, but it's a bit easier to write 6 t-shirts on a list and then grab a stack when it's time to put stuff in suitcases. :goodvibes:goodvibes:goodvibes

Yes GOS, LOST is STILL on! DH watches it religiously. :sad2:

Tinkerbell.RN, that is so funny you should mention your dalmatian costumes! DH and I made them out of white hooded sweatshirts! I was Jewel and he was Dipstick! We were on the 2005 Halloween cruise, and they were too blasted hot! Plus, I had a temp, I was in the middle of an asthma attack. Ugh! So we won't be bringing them. We won't be at the MNNSHP, we decided to go to the Party for the Senses instead.

Did anyone else watch Flash Forward?

Well, Mike....

You cursed me with you're crack about re-wiring the house.

I was digging out some bushes in the front yard and then remembered the electrical cable that runs underground in that vicinity. I stopped what I was doing and checked myself. Yep. As long as I didn't make my hole any bigger I should miss the wire completely. I resumed digging. Then suddenly, POP! and the ground began to smoke. :scared1:Scared the h*ll out of me. Checked myself again I was a good 4 inches from where that cable should be. But, it made a jog underground and was right in my way!:headache: Interestingly enough, it didn't pop one of my breakers. So I carefully dug out the now broken wiring and moved it out of my way. I had to wait until Leah was in school to shut down the electricity to the house (I have no idea which breaker controls that cable) and re-wire the thing. The whole time grumbling that Mike cursed me.:rotfl2:

Since I had to rewire it, I decided to put the new wire in conduit so as to avoid future "accidents."

:scared1::scared1:
sorry dude.:rolleyes1
robin always says why cant i use my powers for "good" once in a while.:guilty:

i'll make it up to you. i'll buy you dinner every nite on the ship...ok?:rolleyes1
