Di and I will be on that Bus. Did it once, missed out on the boarding fun with KK's , but enjoy the quick boarding at 1:00 ish with no crowds.

Hi everybody

I am stopping by - I've been lurking and just caught up on the thread

We got our docs yesterday!! I never thought I'd be sooo excited to see luggage tags!!

I had a crazy idea today to cancel our DCL transfers to port and try to score a Hyatt ressie on Hotwire/ Happy Limo to the port on Sat..

I think I'm too chicken. I'm worried something bad will happen if I change something this late!!

So.... Dolphin it is.. and crowds at the Port at 1pm. Probably no chance of Palo.. sheesh now I'm considering it again!!

Angela, we booked the Hyatt for our first cruise in 05' but took the DCL transfers to the port. We got lucky enough to be on the first bus and got there around 10:15. Easy peasy although a bit congested at the airport. Is the pick up from the Dolphin really that late?

Tink had fun in Hawaii! She met a nice towel animal in our room one night. We think our room steward missed the towel animal class, because we're not sure what it's supposed to be. But that didn't stop Tink from striking up a conversation.

I hope you're sitting down Mikey! Tink also got to meet a REAL hula girl and, OMG!!!, she's wearing a RED DRESS (if you can call that a dress!!)

When I booked the pre-cruise stay on the phone with DCL, I asked about the pick up time from the Dolphin and they said 11:15 for Dolphin, 12:00 for Swan (or vice-versa). Which is kinda strange since they are right next to each other.. but that puts us at the port around 1pm if I'm thinking correctly.

I was first off the bus, so we didn't have any holdups. But don't hold that against me if it happens otherwise.

They do stagger the buses coming from the resorts so everyone isn't arriving at the same time. I really thought it was very orderly. It actually seemed a lot more crowded and crazy when we got to the port early.

Also, you may still have a shot at Palo - they hold some percentage of reservations back to assign on boarding day. You have multiple days at sea, so you could try to book a brunch if you can't get dinner.

Abby found out what instrument she is going to play in band this year.... she got the FLUTE!!!! She is so excited!! We went to the music store tonight to rent it. I couldn't figure out how to make a "flute" sound (but neither could she!!!)

It's been nice seeing all the pictures of everything!!
