You have me thinking about this Rockin Bar D thing now with those bra dance videos etc... Which night should we book the baby into Flounders so we can have some adult time?

Is Rockin Bar D the best place to hang out. We like to laugh and have a good time. A romantic piano bar is not really our scene.

Thanks Cass for mentioning about the extended hours for Flounders ressies, I am going to take full advatage of a few extra hours to visit adult areas of the ship.

Sooo what do you guys reccomend? Which Bar, what activities, what night?

Here are cookies that the Canadian Girl Guides sell!! As usual the American ones look better!! KFC, Taco Bell.... so much better than here. Not to mention: Golden Corral, Old Country Buffet, Olive Garden, Ponderosa, Cracker Barrel All AMAZING!!! If I lived in the States I would weight 100000000 lbs!!

Yeah, we don't get any choice here. We used to get the option of chocolate or vanilla but now each box comes with both!!

I told Elaine and the kids tonight about that release about Halloween on DCL for October. They were all excited. I think Elaine was just as excited as the kids.

Every cruise in October is going to have a Halloween theme time where there will be trick or treating and other Halloween type festivities. I think there is going to be a costume parade too. It should be a fun time.

Oh good, I did not like waiting for those. It made me nervous that they were updated by mail. Such a relief, huh? Now our sons will be able to officially meet.

We got ours in late May/early June and I think it took about 3 weeks. Glad you got them!

We read somewhere that ginger does the same thing, and Teresa was queasy on our first cruise. Every one since then, we take two or the boxes of Little Debbie gingerbread cookies. She hasn't had any problems on the other cruises since we started doing that.

Yes, I also take ginger tablets. Oh yeh, and i drink ginger ale.

My kids FLIPPED when I told them about it. It just makes the trip even more special! as if it didn't sound incredibly special already...

I'm really pushing the pirate attire for costumes.. but Rhee has already decided to be a "circus star"...? She has a jazz costume a neighbor gave her years ago. should be interesting.. at least it doesn't take up too much room in the luggage

OMG, you don't know what you are missing!! They are all kinds, thin mints are our favorites!!! when I was a girl scout( a hundred years ago) they were .50 a box!!! Now they are 3.00!! But so worth it!!

yes i sold gs cookies for 50 cents a box too. I love all the cookies. thin mints, tag a longs, samoas etc. I am back into gs with grandaughter and i am psyched.

We got ours in late May/early June and I think it took about 3 weeks. Glad you got them!

We ordered ours on Aug 22 -- so about 3.5 weeks, as we were told. I think we're set now.. all online docs filled out, etc.

Oh my goodness, I just saw that sign today. I almost bought it for my mom, but then I thought maybe she would like this other one better. It says, "Dear Lord, if you can't make me skinny, can you please make my friends fat?"



Baby boy, 8 pounds 11 ounces. They are naming him Oskar Thor Lofgren. I have never heard of the name Thor before; all of their boys have Nordic/Viking middle names. She said she was in quite a bit of pain until she got the epidural. Went to sleep, woke up a few hours later and was ready to push. One or two pushes and there he was! Mama and baby areng fine. Babies are great, aren't they?

yay for the healthy baby!!! Thor must be the new trendy middle name! My new nephews name is merrick Thor! He so big and burly too!! Up
to 2 pounds 8 oz now ! Lol

Please skip past this post. It's a bit of a rant.























Can I just say that all this bickering is getting a bit outta hand. We are supposed to be adults and I thought 'friends'. This trip was supposed to be a gathering of friends both old and new for just 7 days. I'm as guilty as the next person for saying one or two wrong things and I have apologised.

I am so sad that people have withdrawn from activities that have been organised to make the trip more memorable, because of what is being said behind the scenes and for which most of us are not privy too, thank goodness!

I have loved talking to everyone on here over the last two years and I am going to be so excited come the 24th. I will not be taking 'sides' and if, because of this people do not want to talk to me, then so be it. Two years is a long time, and we were bound to run into a few niggles along the way, but come on people...this is supposed to be a vacation. Everyone has made so many sacrifices for this trip....please, please, please, can't we be friends for just 7 days?

I'm glad to here that Jeff, Suz and DS are still cruising with us. I will be there on the 24th with a hug for everyone that wants one. It wouldn't be KK2 without them.

I'm sorry if this upsets anyone and understand if anyone is upset at some of my words. But this has been upsetting me for a couple of days now, and I just had to get it off my chest.
