Good morning everyone...

I'm getting ready to head out to work for a half day, then to New York for a ball game tonight. If Jeter goes 4-4, he will surpass Lou Gehrig on the Yankees all time hit list. If he has a great night, it should be electric in the Bronx tonight. I am taking my camera tonight since history has a chance to be made. I usually don't take my camera as I don't like to look like a tourist!

I did get my email very late last night from Zazzle telling me my design was illegal. I'll just figure something else out now. We do have 6 weeks!!!

The graphics look brilliant

Laura wants to get the kids a Wii for Christmas this year. If we do, that's at the top of the list. I have it on my iPhone and it's pretty fun.

I'm not sure that they will, but I will offer/ask them if I need to. It's just I've seen the prices on them, so it scares me a little. Before Rob left for work he told me not to worry, he doesn't think I'll have to pay for it, but if I do, it'll just be our donation for the year. so that makes me feel better, but that money would have to come from somewhere---vacay savings? NOOOOO!!!

I'm sure it'll be fine, but I feel terrible--if it was actually my fault.

Man, that sounds like something that would happen to me. I start out doing something for someone out of the goodness of my heart, goof something up and end up paying for a new one.

6 weeks from tonight we fly down.

It will go slow for the first half and then fly the last couple weeks.

Whoo Hoo! That's right! Six weeks from today I'll be picking up the kids from School and driving directly to Sacramento for our pre-flight hotel night.

I went out to DCL's site and the cruise is still as cheap as it was when we booked in Dec '07.

That is what I stumping me. I see that the prices haven't gone up at all and we only have six weeks to the cruise. Presumably, if the ship was filling, those prices would be going up. On Expedia (I think that's the one) I tried to look into availiabiltiy and it showed NO Suites available. (Cats 1-3) I know there are Cat 4's Midship available (and I would think that the Midship rooms would book first so that leaves other possible vacancies fore and aft. There are no Cat 5's or 6's (or as one poster states "once a category gets to less than 10% vacancy it switches to GTY only) and what appears to be plenty of rooms from Cat 8 to Cat 11. (go figure that, I'd have thought that those rooms would be some of the most popular) And Cat 12 being GTY only (so few of those it's obvious) So, it appears that our cruise booked from Top down. That really doesn't make a lot of sense. Especially in a down economy.

I'm fine, although a little bummed. I volunteer to iron the church linens (along with a few other ladies), and I took an altar cloth home the other day to wash and iron and some of the embroidery has faded. The cloth is white with gold embroidery, and I washed it alone in cold water with very little detergent (as directed). I am washing it again in hopes that the rest of the embroidery fades (it turned lighter gold/yellow) so it will be even. If it doesn't I have to go back to the chapel and let them know what happened (to be honest it could have been that way when I got it from them-I really didn't check). If I have to pay for it, I will be bummed.

so I need just a little pixie dust today...just a little.

I then usually go back to the room and the other two are still sound asleep.

I think we should be seeing people getting upgrades too soon.

Worst case would be when we get to 30 days from sailing. Heck some of you are leaving 2 weeks before the cruise. Add on international mailing and they'll have to send out docs pretty soon.
