Didn't you get the memo, they no longer refer to it as Global Warming. It is now called Climate Change. Guess all these cold temps that everyone is having plus the fact that the earth has been cooling for the last several years it was hard to sell Global Warming.

It has nothing to do with the lack of solar flares on the sun over the past few years. You know, the sun has no effect on our temps.

I feel real sorry for the polars bears and ice caps, but I could sure do with a few extra degrees here.

Darn it. We're meeting up on the 13th Sept - I'll take my itinary with me and try to rehash it. Still havent decided yet if we're doing the MNSSHP, but I want the night free just incase we feel like it.

I love butternut squash too. I love all veggies though. I'm not really a fruit person except for strawberries and melon.

I bought loads of individual freezer containers that stack up. Make a big batch and freeze it in portions - it takes just 4 minutes to reheat from frozen and its no points for lunch

Karen, have you made gazpacho? It has very little points. Avocados are optionals, so the only points are olive oil. My husband makes the best-lots of veggies and spices and served cold.

All I want to know is what is the right temp we're suppose to be at. This way I know when we get to that temp and I can prepare myself to adjust to living at whatever it is.

I'm assuming it would be somewhere between the last ice age on the cold side and when the dinasours roamed the earth on the hot side. I believe we are still in between the two of those temps though.

My Marine is totaly safe, but thanks for the thoughts. He will retire in less than two years and will not deploy. He is an Operations Analyst.
