Good morning Disboards. Just checking in for the day. I have been grounded for not keeping up, so my wife tells me I have to stay awake every night, until I am caught up on the Disboards. I hope I have not missed too much. Happy Birthday to those who have had one and Welcome to all of the new members.

Hi Chris - good to see you back, is Melissa ok?

:sad2::sad2:None to share today, sorry. Good luck at WW

Your luck worked - I lost half a pound:eek: - how the heck I did that with all I've eaten and drunk this week I have no idea, but I'm NOT complaining!:rotfl:

Good luck, I was bad this week end and was so afraid to get on the scale this am!! I was .5 down from friday!!! I will take it.

Hope it went well.

Me too! - .5lb:banana:

And your friends from Maine arn't to happy. Oh well

Did you every receive the vido of the storms of friday I sent you?

Yes, it was so sad about those people being pushed off the rocks and one little girl not surviving.

October is a new season Dan. I have a feeling the Red Sox and Yankees will both be in the post season.

It's rough in this house in the fall!! We watch in two different rooms if the sox aren't doing well.

Okay--I think I caught up...

Hello, I'm Angie's DH. I'm joining late, but wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm looking forward to the cruise, and participating on the board (to the extent Angie let's me).

And I have a scar... do chicks still dig scars?

Welcome Dave :)

Check out my signature. It only took me like 3 hours!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

WTG :thumbsup2

For all you Packer fans out there, my brother-in-law sent this to us in an email last night:

Subject: Vikings

As part of the Brett Favre deal, the Vikings will be getting $4,500 from
the US government as part of the Cash for Clunkers program.

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Rachel did not find this funny at all :rolleyes1

I think they should have recieved double :lmao:

Do you think this photo is nice enough to get framed? - (I'm getting one framed for Mom for her birthday)

I am sure! Where I live in Connecticut it is pretty much evenly split where people's alliances fall. I am 90 miles to Boston, and 130 to New York.

My wife is slowly becoming more interested in the Yankees. Ever since she finally came to a game with me she is making an effort. In fact, she and a friend are using a pair of my tickets in a few weeks and going to a game together. Elaine doesn't like to drive in the NYC area, so she is taking the train in. I always drive though...its cheaper.

Sounds like a deal to me!!! We are most likly going to drive thursday night to Tallahasee so we will be 21/2 hours closers, take Patrick out to dinner so we will be down there by noon!!!!!! Let the party begin!!!

:dance3: I can not wait. I got the suitcases out yesterday and have started the packing.

Jose told us this weekend that he will not be proposing on the ship because he is planning on them going to a Yankee game and proposing at the game. Apparently Megan told her friend years ago that this is what she wanted so He is going to do that. He is so sweet. She will love that. Now I have to find away to get to NY at the same time so I can be there. :rolleyes1

I am hoping to be able to pack really light for the cruise. My mom was down here and was I think trying to kind of convince Elaine to pack light. My mom says she will do laundry on the ship to save luggage. That's good because I am thinking of changing his rental ressie to a Mustang to surprise him. My dad and I went looking at Mustangs yesterday. His first car was a 1970 Mach 1, and he really likes the new Mustangs.

Here are my pics of yesterday. The quality's not great as they were taken on my phone.

On our walk round Guildford, we stumbled across this lovely park

Right in the middle was the Guildford Castle (or whats left of it)

The park closed at Dusk and thats why there's no one around (well apart from us)

Great pictures!!! The gardens are beautiful. I am like Joanne I love the fact that you all have taken care of your history. Seein England and Scotland are on my bucket list.

That is so sweet of you to think of that for your Dad. Tommy told me I have to pack light so I am thinking that I will pack my things and what space is left I will pack him a couple of things. :lmao:

Looking at the Budget website, I don't think it will work out. Perhaps I can encourage him when we rent to ask if any Mustang's are available.

I hope so Chris. I think they have a big problem with there starting rotation. They better do something about it or there done.
