Hi everyone!

Welcome to our new cruisers! I'm Jen, and I will be cruising with my DH and our DS Thomas (6), as well as a bunch of assorted relatives.

Now that we've reached the 75 day mark, I'm REALLY getting excited!!!!!




Tonight I'm going to work on door signs - my MIL bought a laminator, so she's going to laminate my signs for me.

I've spent almost 2 years waiting for this trip...what am I going to do when it's over????

Jen - I am getting soooo excited too! Since this is our first cruise and I've been bugging my dh about one for 15 years now, the anticipation is SOOOO exciting!

One cool thing too is that I decided what my FE gifts are going to be!! FINALLY!!! I can not wait to get them done and then start working on my door signs/magnets. Whew!! I'll need a vacation after this!

the way the kids flocked to that "bart" reminds me of woody on toy story before buzz lightyear stole the show and cowboys wernt cool anymore.

that old video reminds me of how we skrimped and saved to buy a movie camera when michael was born in 1977. didnt have sound. we'd come home from wdw, watch the movies on the projector and play disney records in the backround. good times.

I made a very rough draft door sign. Never did it before, so this could be interesting. It's not very good, but it will do the job.

Can't wait to see it!!! I did a few very basic door signs last time (I made them in Word and Power point!) and it was so fun to put them up!

i know what you mean. i must be a "glass half full" kind of guy, because i can already feel myself getting depressed about it being all over.

Yep...that's exactly it. Maybe I'll have to console myself by planning a WDW trip!

I purposely left door signs and my own family's t-shirts until now so I'd have something cruise-related to do the last couple of months. And I have to put together my FE's, but I know what they will be.

I wish! Unfortunately, this will be the last one for a LONG time....DH wants to do some other trips. And I want to take DS to WDW - we haven't taken him yet, so that is probably the next big vacation.

I LOVE FOOTBALL SEASON!!! I have 4 GB Packer tickets for this Saturday although it's only a pre-season game. I wonder if Cheryl and Al will be there this time? Their tickets are about 5 rows above ours in the same seats though. Small world, eh?

Tommy is assistant athletic director at the high school and is obsessed with the field. It looks better than most golf courses. For the next few months I will see him very little unless I go over there and work. We really have a good time.

I am heading to the beach to escape this heat and humidity. Well, it will still be humid there, but at least we will have the water!

I wish! Unfortunately, this will be the last one for a LONG time....DH wants to do some other trips. And I want to take DS to WDW - we haven't taken him yet, so that is probably the next big vacation.

That sounds like a week at sea and a week in the parks. We are going to WDW the week between Christmas and New Years with my brother and his family. Any one that calls and says we are going, go with us, we are there. Tommy knows unless I have another trip to look forward too he would never be able to get me off the ship.

Have fun!!! It is in the high 90's and very humid here today. Our kids start back to school on Wed.

It's funny you ask about our grandson. As we speak he is with Nana Nancy at Bath Bed and Beyond getting some help buying some sheets and pillow cases and blankets for his room at school this year.
He is doing just great. He spent the summer down here living with his Dad David and April and he two brothers John and Jason. He got a job at a local Resturent and Brewery know as the Sea Dogs and will be returning next summer to work.
He return s back to school next week to start Football. Oh yes you would never know he lost the big toe in one foot. He has a good shoot a making varcity this year as a def tackle and offence takle. At 6'5 an 315lbs he is good at that slot. Oh yes he finished his freshman year with a 3.85 grade average. Well enough bragging HA

He is doing just great. He spent the summer down here living with his Dad David and April and he two brothers John and Jason. He got a job at a local Resturent and Brewery know as the Sea Dogs and will be returning next summer to work.

i'm heading out to work at 6. 12 hrs again this week.
it was about 115 degrees in my work area last nite. like working in an easy bake oven.

Hey all,

Its hot here in Toronto too. Not complaining though as so far this has been the summer that wasn't. I love the thunderstorms the humidity brings... very cool. Nature's fireworks!!

Since we are newbies, our cruise ressies just opened at Midnight last night. Only Palo dinner ressies are available, we wanted Brunch. I guess we will be making a bee line on the first day so we can get a spot.

It will be great to meet all of you in just over 2 months!! Time is flying by.

That is funny. I am glad he is doing so well. Tommy asked me over the weekend if you had said how he was doing. You have every right to brag he is an amazing young man (just like his gradparents).

It is the same here. We went out for lunch and just from the building to the car was miserable.
