Hello Bober's -

Just spent the last 1 1/2 hours trying to catch up. Been very busy at work...it is vacation time. we finally have replaced the 2 full-time people that have left (one got fired, then the replacment quit 2 months later, and one is out on long term disability--don't think she will come back!) in our very small department of 6. Thank goodness. It was a very stressful time.

I hope all is well with everyone and their families.

I cannot believe that we will be sailing in 3 months!!! That will be a much needed vacation! Now if I only make that final payment

Non-cruise related question...does anyone know a nice, but reasonable hotel in Buffalo? My family wants to take a rode trip to the National Buffalo Wing Festival over Labor day and we are unfamiliar with the area. We are also hoping to make aquick trip to see Niagra Falls. Any ideas of where to stay would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Hiya Lisa You just missed Rose. She's from NY and might be able to give you some good ideas. Also, Christian seems to be in NY a lot too. He might also be able to help.

Hey everyone. We were gone all day visiting with friends. It was a nice time out.

BTW, Chris, I checked e-mail messages when we got home - one from JetBlue. Seems our non-stop flight home on Nov. 2nd has been changed too. They put us on a much earlier flight that goes through JFK. Don't think we'll go JetBlue again.

Non-cruise related question...does anyone know a nice, but reasonable hotel in Buffalo? My family wants to take a rode trip to the National Buffalo Wing Festival over Labor day and we are unfamiliar with the area. We are also hoping to make aquick trip to see Niagra Falls. I'll check with one of my best friends. She is from Buffalo and would know some good places - plus she's a big Disney freak like the rest of us (actually, she's MORE of a Disney freak than me!)

Well, after a long discussion with some other BOBers, we figured out that we never saw half the things we wanted to see at the parks. So for mnsshp, I decided to take the list of "must-see's" at the Magic Kingdom and put them all on a map which we'll take along with us.

We're home! Back from 2 weeks at the beach. Overall it was a good time. The weather was great about half the time. The rest was good for shopping, reading or just hanging out. Don't think we'll ever catch up on all the posts while we were gone.

I prefer the lazy method. Buy a pre-cooked bag, put it in the microwave for 2 minutes, et voila!

I use those too Heather, 2 minutes and... ping! - Done!

We've done St Thomas a couple of times now and I really want to go to St John, even if it is only 1.30mins. And the skyride too, if we have enough time.

we have ressies for the "bakery" on main st.
a ressie for Caseys for lunch.
and ressie for the "turkey leg stand" for dinner.
nothing but the best for my sweet polly.
