our daughter went for their honeymoon last month.princess:

Awesome! Dave (dh) and I went there for our honeymoon almost 15 years ago - stayed at what was then called "Dixie Landings" (now called Port Orleans - something......) Best time ever! Of course, we didn't live together before getting married, so we were spoiled the first week - king sized bed , double vanity.... back to reality and we had a full size bed, one bathroom sink. :rotfl: Ahhhh - to be young again!

THe most memorable thing (that I can post) is that we got upgraded to first class on our way to Orlando and then later on the Great Movie ride at MGM we saw another "honeymooning" couple that was on our plane and ALSO got bumped up to first class. It's a Small world (after all....):love:

Glad I could amuse you Chris. Felling any better? :flower3:

hope you feel better captchris.:cool2::wizard:
Feeling about the same, but thanks. If I don't feel better tomorrow, I am calling the doctor. If I feel improvement, i will just take it easy.

That's cool! I always wanted to fly first class, just to see if there is any real difference.

Hmmmm.... sounds suspicious.....:rolleyes: Are you saying that so all the reservations in Palo will be available to you and your bride?? Hmmmmm??? Not trying to influence me, are ya!??! :rolleyes1
Just a guess, but I am thinking he doesn't like all of the combined foods there. Mikey no likey his food touching!

Well, I decided that I didn't want to go the creative route on the Fish Extenders and I'm going to order one. I realized that it would cost me at least as much to make one the way I wanted to and the time and frustration - not sure I was willing to go through it. Plus, the ones I saw are SOOOOO cute!! We will personalize our doors ourself.

Can't wait!!!!

nope. its all yours.:lmao:
we had a strange experience there in 2001. i'm a plain steak and fries guy and they only had fancy food. nothing on the menu for me at all so i thought i'd order lamb.:sick:(i can still taste it)(just the thought of that poor little lamb.)
we laughed about it.:hug::rotfl:
finally the waiter asked "do you just want a steak?" so they got me a steak from somewhere.:rotfl:
i think since then they've changed it and they have alternate choices but we'll stick to our regular dining rotation. we dont need the romantic setting.
Robin says every day with me is like a romance novel so we dont need palos.
:rotfl::lmao::rotfl2:

Where did our "Dawg" go?:confused3

You and my DH are going to get along JUST great!!:lmao: He looked at the menu for Palos and wasn't impressed by the "frou frou" food - but saw the brunch menu and that they had crab legs and he was all :banana:

Suz and I honeymooned there in 1993 at French Quarter (which was only Port Orleans at the time). So do you refer to Riverside as Dixie Landings still? We do.

Big Red - you will LOVE :love: my DH Dave.... he has a HUGE scar from when they removed his kidney when he was 16!! Of course, unless he slims down, you probably won't see that sexy scar (but you can use your imagination!!) :thumbsup2
