Thanks Karen. I am feeling better today about it. One month and it will all be over. I am not used to all of this drama.

Its a stressful time for everyone, try not to take it too personally I'm sure your son didnt mean to upset you 30 days and counting

Howdy All,

I just wanted to drop by and say hello and to say thanks for those who have been sending me good wishes and praying for me about my recent surgery. Speaking of which, all went well with the surgery, but for the first 3 days after surgery I wished at times that I had died. Morphine and I do not get along very well and I was sick to my stomach for three days. Once I was able to start eating, I ate everything in sight, LOL!!!

I had a bit of a scare this past Tuesday as one of my docs thought I might have had a blood cot in my right leg. I had to lay in bed for 7 hours on Tuesday until someone was available to do an ultrasound on my leg. I finally got the results from the ultrasound late Tuesday(5:00pm) that the fear of the blood clot was negative.

Another reason for posting tonight, after such a long absence on this thread, is that I would like to say, "If I had offended, or upset anyone, in any way, shape or form over the past few months, I am extremely sorry and please accept my apology." I have done a great deal of soul searching the past couple of days and I am trying to make everything right.

The wedding is July 11. One month from today. At this point I am ready for it to be over. Did you feel like you were losing your son when he got married? I feel like I have lost Ryan. We had a discussion last night about the rehearsal dinner. We had it all planned and last night he told me that he wants it all changed. He was never like this before. It is as though he has no respect for us and our feelings. Oh well I am sure it will all work out. Sorry to be such a downer today. I am feeling a little sorry for myself.
