I see Dan already posted something about our flight but that was before we actually booked it. Now it's booked! The actual price with taxes was $209.20 for both of us. The best part for us is the non-stop feature, something that's very hard to get out of Maine! Now I have to call Magical Express & arrange our ground transportation. I just love crossing things of my list!

N

Is the $209.20 for one way from Orlando to Portland? If that is the case, then ours is a little cheaper afterall. Ours are $159.20 from Orlando to Richmond. That makes more sense. Is that the case?

Actually Karen would have 2 :sail: because it was a 500 milestone. :thumbsup2

I get two!????:yay::woohoo:

I guess I could set up the camera in the dashboard of one of our vehicles. The cans are right infront of our cars.

Do it , do it!:yay::yay:

Congrats Karen!!!!! I didn't realize we were so close or I would have stayed around and tried too.

:goodvibes... you can get the next one:thumbsup2

Here are some of his prints......

:eek:My very next post was to ask if there were pawprints
...great minds think alike;)

I'd be up all night watching him.... in fact I migh be tempted to leave the odd steak out to tempt him closer to my lens:lmao::rolleyes1

Key Lime Pie place in Key West.

Wasnt keen - I threw mine away:confused3

my official day to begin driving again is May 22

:woohoo: well done Paige:hug:

I am hoping for Karen's stamina today...I have a full day of running around.

8:45--commissary run to get ingredients for more jambalaya (I'm getting so sick of it.) for teachers..Then get home as quick as possible to cook it.
10:30--drop it off at school...
get home to try to clean this house for company tonight...
2pm--go to Alex's school for an assembly..
cook supper for company (a good friend so no pressure actually)
6:45--get Derek to the middle school dance
9:30--get Derek from the middle school dance

Whew!---And I'm not supposed to be driving! This has been my life for the last couple of weeks. I guess it's that time of year with school winding down, huh?

Dont do too much Paige - cant any friends or other parents take Derek for you there or back? Ask for help - I'm sure people would be glad to help out a little.:thumbsup2

You can't say that about Donny.

From that remark, I'd say you was a David Cassidy fan.

Nope, neither.:scared: Nor Bay City Rollers.:scared:

I'm a little bummed at the moment. I have booked an ADR at Chefs De France for our upcoming trip to WDW in June. The one day I can do it is on a Sunday--the one day that Ratatouille is not there.:headache:

We are flying out of Portland too. I believe that is one way for them coming home for the two of them.

Our total airfare for the 4 of us from Portland was $900, or about $225 pp round trip.

Just back from our photography class:thumbsup2

Good and interesting this week:thumbsup2

Nancy - shutter speed - do you have a sports mode? - if so, the shutter speed is mega fast - turn your flash off:thumbsup2 Also fast in snow mode - apparantly snow mode works great on a beach too (Maybe its the glare off the sand is the same as the snow:confused3)

We did outdoor moving shots today and then "played" with Adobe photoshop cs3 - great package - anyone got it?:confused3 - I asked the tutor and he said the package is approx $950:scared1: - wont be buying that then:scared1:

Next week should be fun - we have to take Ellis' scooter and do more moving shots:dance3:

Adobe Photoshop CS4 is current now. In fact, they have a newer upgrade called Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended. The regular CS4 is a bargain at $699. :woohoo:

I would like to get it, but can't justify the cost. It is definitely the professional software package for people who are serious amateur photogs or professionals. (You know, like people who have taken classes. :thumbsup2)

I would like to take a digital photography class but I don't ever seem to have the time. The Travel Channel has a travelling videographer course that came to Washington DC recently. I looked into going to improve my "vacation" movies. Then I discovered that it cost about $2000. :scared1:

Good luck with the photography course. Maybe you can drop some more tips for the rest of us.

Matthew

Yes, I'm sure my neighbor and I will get a little carpool going, and Rob is here, too. I think I dread this dance because Derek takes as long picking out his clothes and getting ready as a girl. He's just started to get into this kind of stuff--which I am happy that he is at least worried about grooming and being clean.

That makes more sense....Y'all will have to excuse me, I'm a little slow on the uptake sometimes. I'm sure I'll never have the nickname "Number Girl.":rotfl:

Y'all should smell my house right now---Jambalaya is in the rice cooker. I can't stand the smell, I've cooked it so many times in the last week.:rotfl: But if the teachers like it, and it's easy to make (it is), I guess I will keep on making it....

Me neither. I am good with basic math but don't complicate things too much, and I like to see the figures in front of me!

Hello--Is anybody here? I brushed my teeth, really I did.

I'm here! - just catching up!

Hi Karen--Are you ready for your weekend of peace and quiet?

Neils all packed up in the car. He's under canvas tonight, but the cubs inc Ellis are in a converted table block in bunk beds. I'll miss them:sad1:

Matthew - I looked on ebay and the prices are too much on there for me too. Oh well, maybe I can pick one up next year. Maybe the 3 will be cheaper when they bring out the next edition:rolleyes:

I'll try to explain things as I learn them in the course, we're doing sport next week, we have to take scooters etc so the kids can "play" and we can take piccies. If I learn something new I'll pass it on:thumbsup2

Ellis has started asking for hair gel etc when we go out to eat etc:cutie:... doesnt seem two minutes since he was in nursery:eek:... I want my toddler back:sad1:

Morning Peeps! I am working from home so that I can sneak out early to play golf. :thumbsup2
