Ah, thats right

Yeah, I just wish they'd use the gate arrival when they determine "on-time" performance for airlines. They base that on push back from the departure gate. Heck, you can stay on the ground for hours before taking off.

Now you just have to wait another couple hours until she clears immigration, baggage, customs and drive to Chris' house.

But yep, she's there.

I feel better just knowing she landed :goodvibes Now if she fell asleep I hope the flight attendant can wake her up, she can be a very hard sleeper at times but she'll be the last one off the plane so she'll have plenty of time to have the grogginess clear and she'll be so excited!

Jeff, thanks for finding that website! It was neat to watch Rach make her progress over :thumbsup2

No problem. Anytime.

Figured I'd stay on here with you as her journey unfolded. I knew you'd be up. Thought I'd keep you company.

Looks like American is taking their time to update their site. Must be a long taxi to the gate.

I just checked back there too and still says estimated arrival 6:59. It's almost that time now

Thanks for the company  Well now that I know that she's landed I think I'm going to go "take a nap" while I wait for her to get to Chris' and call. I'm getting pretty sleepy. Goodnight Jeff.

Night Cheryl. I'm out too.

BTW, it doesn't look like AA updated their times. It is after 6:59 and they haven't adjusted it. You'd think it would have indicated "landed" like other airlines do. The "arrived" when it gets to the gate.

Cheryl and Jeff,
I'm excited just ready about your excitement. I hope Rachel has a fabulous time in the UK.

Karen - I hope the break is going well!

Yes thanks:thumbsup2... we're keeping him occupied so far:rotfl:

Well, everyone, I think we may not be staying at the Radisson afterall. We are seriously considering flying in the day of the cruise. We can fly out of Richmond at 8 am nonstop, arriving at MCO at around 10 am. I can get a pretty good fare with Airtran, and we would save quite a bit of $$ not having to stay in a hotel, dinner that night, etc. We are considering this because the flight is so early in the day. Otherwise I wouldn't even think about it.

You'd still have plenty of time if you get in at 10am.:thumbsup2 There are quite a few of us who aren't staying at the Rad and just meeting up with everyone at the terminal.

It was sunny here and in Chicago today, hopefully Rachel will bring some of that sun your way :sunny::sunny::sunny::wizard:

Todays weather is cloudy with rain forecast:rolleyes1

Morning people,Cheryl fear not the flight is on time and we'll be there to pick up the football,Rosie is bouncing off the walls......:rolleyes1

PS....Nancy,Karen just a nice steady weight loss no hungry strikes and i'll take you guys at your word as to your weight loss.....:worship:

I bet Rosie is soooooooooooo excited:yay:

Dont worry Chris - I doubt you'll have to pay out anything for me:rolleyes1

Hi Chris

I actually just got off the phone with Jeff, he was giving me some info on how to track Rachel's flight, it looks like she has a good wind pushing her your way. She was so excited when she got on the plane I hope she was able to get some sleep!

Its normal to get good wind on the way to the UK, its the other way that takes forever:sad2:

Ehhh...I'm sick so I'm a little crabby  It's been almost a week now and I feel like I am getting worse

:hug:Hope ypou feel better soon:hug:

Thanks Cheryl! I've been doing pretty good since I started 5 weeks ago. That Mother Goose sure keeps me motivated with all that exercising she's doing

Me too! - I did 45 minutes on wii fit again yesterday:thumbsup2

Unaccompanied minors are the last ones off the plane and then by the time she gets through customs I'm sure Chris will be there :goodvibes

It takes a while before you even get to the immigration - we walked a good 10 minutes before you reach that bit of hte airport

:woohoo: She made it!

:yay:

Welcome toEngland Rachel:banana::banana::banana::banana:

I hope you packed an umbrella:rolleyes1

Chris - let me know if you're doing "Shakespeare" or Warwick area etc and we'll try to meet:thumbsup2 I couldnt get to London, but I hope you all have a fab time:yay:

Ellis is going to Grandma's tonight and we're out for a curry with friends.

Not sure what we're doing today. I'm off to do my wii fit while the men laze in bed:rolleyes:
