10/24/2009 Bash On the Boat (I'm with B.O.B.) - Thread #20!

thanks!!! He is downstairs watching a movie and I am upstairs crocheting. It is a wind down day today. He drove many miles/hours this week in Louisiana. (about 30 hours) Tomorrow if nice we have a bike ride. I think it is going to be cold and rainy. Diane

Mike - my father came over tonight. I have not seen him since he was released from the hospital. He still can not drive so mom came along as the driver. He is still tiring easily. They were only here about 10 minutes before he started getting tired. But it is 45 mins. each way for them also to get here. Anyways he showed Mac his chest. He showed her the zipper scar and then the three scars were the tubes came out. When he showed her the zipper scar he asked her "do you know what this is." She just looked at him. He continued with "your mommy has a friend that calls it a zipper" Mac smiled really big and says "grandpa, that is not mommies friend that is Grandpa Mike." My father got confussed since his name is also Mike and was trying to figure it out, so she ran to our entertainment center and pointed to the picture of you and Robin that you guys sent us. She says "See grandma that is grandpa Mike, he has a zipper just like you do. Wait your name is Mike also, I have two Grandpa Mikes, and they both have zippers. I can not wait to share that at show and tell." She starts leaving the room and then stops, and says "grandpa have you ever worn mommies bra?" My father looks and me and says "absolutly not." (now I am mortified, my parents up until today had not idea about that night.) Mac continues with "my other Grandpa Mike wore my mommies bra." She goes upstairs just like it was an everyday conversation and gets ready for bed. And I walk my parents out waiting for the lecture, but my father was to tired to give it.

Welcome to the group. You will be sailing with a terrific bunch of people. We sailed with them back in Oct. 07. Unfortunatly we will not be sailing this time around but we pop in every so often to say hi and see what is up with everyone.

i'm mike aka underdog and my lovely bride robin aka tart annihilator will be celebrating 34 years of wedded bliss on this cruise.
20 cruises!! i guess you could teach us all a few things about DCL then eh?

Wow!!!! 20 DCL cruises. I am Diane and my husband Walt are going on this cruise. We are very excited to meet all old and new friends. We are from San Antonio, Texas.

Hi, welcome I'm Dianne and I'm bringing my husband, two kids and parents along for the ride. Wow ... that kind of felt like an AA Meeting Intro. Anyway, this is our second and my parents third Disney cruise ... I would LOVE to be able to do 20. We're from B.C. Canada and soooo happy to be heading into warmer weather in October.

Dianne, we all just do our own shirts. We tried on the last cruise to have some made but because there is a Mickey Mouse on the logo, no one will print them

I buy shirts at Michaels when they are on sale and get some iron-on t-shirt transfers and just print out the logo and iron it on
