Thanks! Congrats to your grandchildren as well. It seems they keep you busy.

My kids are doing baseball and soccer starting in April. My parents are buying Jay a pitching machine for his birthday as that is the level he is on in baseball. Rather than face live pitching, the hit from a machine at his age. I guess 7 year olds can be a little wild! No plunking!!! Only Joba can plunk a certain Red Sox First baseman....jk. It's wrong all the time, but I had to throw that in there.

He He :thumbsup2

All in good fun. Youkllis is one of those guys if he is on your team you love him, but every other team hates him. He reminds me a lot of Paul O'Neil.

I actually got him in one of my fantasy leagues. Joba is slated to pitch my first game on 4/17. It should be interesting. If he can pitch well, the stadium will be electric as the fans love him.

Here ya go....

I have some more but the pictures show the personal info of one of our BOBers so I won't show those and I forgot how Cass told me to blur it out.

Speaking of Cass , here are a few pictures of my finished scrapbook that she gave to the taggers:

I love your scrapbook. Asiah and I are going to start doing alittle scrapbooking with daughter's best friend. I have loads of pictures. I want to do a Disney World Scrapbook. I have loads of neat pictures from when I went there with grandkids last year. Then I will do a scrapbook of our upcoming 6 week trip on the bike. Diane

I really do like dogs..but the neighbors across the streets dog barks non stop when they leave.. arg :headache: I have mentioned it before but it's bad when the neighbors around me have to go out and yell "Max shutup!"

Thanks! I am now very achy from being on the driveway for 2 hours putting it together. My knees, shoulders, etc. The kids were playing like crazy with it as I was cleaning up my tools and the packaging. The neighbor kid said to me, "whenever I come over now, I will stay outside." I was thinking, "good idea!"

Looks good! Was Jay surprised? We used to have one in our driveway - it was on a pole that was into the ground with cement. My oldest dug it up & has it in his driveway now so it's gotten plenty of use.

Wow great job Chris. Walt has put two goals together. One for youngest daughter 18 years ago and one for grandkids two years ago. Today was grandkids last basketball game. Both did well. Asiah's team came in second place in tournament and Elijah's team loss their second game today. Now on to a new sport. I think it is track. Diane

I'm waiting for a spring sport. Since hockey season ended were missing having places to go! I think one of the boys is playing lacrosse & Hannah will play the always exciting T-ball - of course the snow has to melt & the fields have to dry first.

Do you know that Kevin Youkilis was originally a Portland Sea Dog? Actuallymany of the current Sox players are. Pedroia, Lester, Masterson, Papelbon, Beckett, Lowrie, Catteras to name a few.

Hi Everyone. We have no internet at home right now, so I am catching up while sitting at Barnes and Noble. We did DIS tag on the SSMC08 and did things common to our area. We took some small jars of jams made here, some got bookmarks from the Margaret Mitchell House in Atlanta, some got personalized trivets from Stone Mountain near Atlanta - just things that were from our area. We gave all the kids Atlanta Braves balls - the kind you play with in the pool - or train whistles from Stone Mountain. It was a lot of fun. We decided not to drive though, so we had to ship the box of gifts ahead of time since we couldn't easily take it on the plane. It worked out fine - we had it shipped to Boardwalk and picked it up the day before the cruise. It was fun going around and putting everything in people'sfish extenders too.

I'm wondering if your lack of internet is storm related. Looked like there were some terrible storms down you way. Hope all is back to normal soon.

He was pretty surprised. He said his friend looked out the window and told him what I was putting together in the driveway. I purposely did it behind the car so he couldn't see too well.

That's what makes minor league baseball so cool. We have the CT Defenders here in town and while I don't get to games as much as I would like, I like the concept of not knowing who might make it or break it.

My sister used to go to games all the time when she lived in Erie, PA. She would go to the games when the Yankee affiliate, Trenton Thunder were in town. She used to talk to players and they would call out to her as well. She is funny, she has got Derek Jeter's autograph, made A-Rod laugh, and has talked to a lot of players. When we go together, we always watch batting practice and try to have some interaction.

Last year at Yankee Stadium, I had a conversation with Joba Chamberlain. Everyone was saying stupid things like, "Joba, I love you, marry me, etc" I thought to myself what can I say to get a response. I had remembered his dad was in the hospital so then my pastoral instincts kicked in. I called out to him, "Hey Joba, how's your dad doing?" He looked right at me and said, "he's doing good" and gave me a thumbs up. I returned the thumbs up and said, "thats great to hear"

She acts like a movie star in them also.:lmao: There was a shirt at Hollywood Studios last year that I wanted to buy her but it was only in adult size. It said.........No pictures please.........I loved it. it fits her personality to a tee.

And, they were yummy.
