Good morning peeps:goodvibes

Last day of the hols before we're back to school.:teacher:

Have a good day everybody:goodvibes

Hello all!

wow you guys were busy..lol took me almost a hour to get caught up!..lol

Last night was a blast, the play was funny and sad..the main char reminded me of my mother in law and my elderly neighbor. It was called "another home invasion" the premiss is about a elderly woman who has come to light that she can no longer take care of her sickly husband and has to deal with a breakin...it was amazing! One woman show... but you get so absorbed into it!

afterwards was a charity appatizer function.. with local celeb's it was yummy! ( I forgot my camera ...sorry)

Tonight I am going to try out a fishing game I bought for the wii.. I would rather fish for real.. but I will take what I can get..lol

Sounds like a good play Bernie. Who did you go with?:)

They carry them at costco.

For real? I wonder if they have them at the Costco around here? I'll have to find someone with a membership so I can get in. :thumbsup2 Thanks neighbor. :flower3:

:cool1:

This is the 70,000th post on the BOB threads (if anyone cares)

Congrats Jeff! :thumbsup2

Hi Bernie.

BTW, like the "tag" you got. There was actually a wrestler from here in Milwaukee called the Crusher. It was on the old AWA show back in the 60's and 70's. I use to watch that with my dad when I was a little kid.

A co-worker of mine married the Crusher. What was his real name Jeff, do you remember? :confused3 :confused3 (It was a long long time ago.)

Just arrived home a few minutes ago from our evening out. Had a very nice meal at Ruby Tuesday, followed by a better time visiting our DISfriends and had some Grand Cayman Rum Cake at their house for dessert!!!

Now, it's off to catch some shut-eye, see y'all tomorrow..........:wave2:

Rum Cake! Don't even get me started on that. :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: I wasn't allowed to buy any in GC.

I only have a few layouts left to do :woohoo: Woooooo!

But I need a break so I am gonna run out and grab a movie to watch :happytv:

What did you see? I got Nights in Rodanthe yesterday and planned on watching it last night but we went nuts cleaning out drawers and cabinets instead. At least I have a nice clean office & kitchen now. Today we tackle the pantry and linen closets. :rolleyes1

Good Sunday Morning Everyone...

Hiya Andy!

Karen: How is your back?:flower3:

Jeff: How is your back?:)

I just finalized our trip plans for next month. Instead of driving to Florida, I was able to get us on Southwest flights for $59.00 each way leaving on Thursday 3/12 and arriving back home on Thursday 3/19. This also allows us to spend my mom's birthday with her on Wednesday 3/18. I was also able to get us a good deal ($253.20 with all taxes and fees included) on a rental car with Budget for the week. This will be so much better than having to spend two days in the car, down and back.........:goodvibes

Now, I just have to put in my vacation request tomorrow at work.......:lmao:

Reginald Lisowski was the Crusher. He died in 2005. What was the wife's name?

BTW, did you see the news about Verne Gagna, the guy who started the AWA? He body slammed a 90's something man in a alzheimer home and killed him. Because of his illness, he doesn't even remember doing it. Sad.

Wow, that was a quick catch up this morning. Guess I'll go do something else now. I'll be back later.

Good morning everyone...

Just wanted to pop in and say hey before heading out. In addition to our regular Sunday services another church asked us to take over their turn feeding the community. We now do that two Sundays a month.

Now I am off to Walmart to pick up bread and a few extra things we need.

Talk to you all later.

Hmmmm, that wasn't my co-workers last name though. It was Kowalski. I just googled her last name and the only wrestler that came up with that name was Gorgeous George and he died in the 60's! Her husband's name was George Kowalski and they got married October 11, 1975. (She may have been in her 50's when they married). Maybe she didn't tell us the truth either. Heck I was 18 and believed everything anyone told me. :lmao:

So sad about Gagne. I was secretly in love with his son Greg. :rotfl:

Good Morning Everyone!

Nancy - All that cleaning... I don't know how you find the time. I need an house overhaul. I'm sure it feels good to have it done.

Cass - I know I asked this, alas, I have forgotten - DO you do digital then just have it printed out? Who do you get to print it? OR do you do traditional and scan it then have it printed.

Karen - If the holidays are over and school starts again, is your back up to that? Are you better?

Andy - How was that workout today?

Chris - Have fun serving all those folks today! What a joy! It's a lot of work, I know, but what a blessing to be able to do that!

Jeff - How's the back?

Dan and Nancy - What will you do with your "empty day?"

Kathy - How are you? How is Tink? And Frank?

Amanda and Annette - Hey Gals! How is it going? Are you both doing the marathon? Have you talked to Kamy and Steve? We did let them know you were going like you asked.

Well, my daughter is awake, so I am off to visit before she heads back to campus!

It sure does feel good. I'm on a roll now. I want to tackle the basement too.:goodvibes Have fun with TikiOlivia.

Good morning all,

Great Airfare's Andy!!! We don't have any cheap airlines here. Cost a fortune to go any where.

Nancy- I wish I would get some motivation to clean!!!

I am off to baby sit, friend in the choir who has four kids under seven, her DH is deployed and the 1 year old is to hard to handle in church.

Have a great day all, I am hoping fo some sun today!!

That is a great face!!!! But, look at Pete in the background........I thought you were just supposed to sip wine.:lmao: I think he really enjoyed that one.:rotfl2:

Pete had a great time at the wine tasting...I do not drink a lot, so he had his wine and mine!

I qualify for the 'scarred' group too - a nearly 3" on my face and a 5" on my right arm.

All 3 of us qualify fo the "scarred" group...but I'm not showing mine. I'd have to wear a bikini, and that's NOT happening!

Pete's got a scar on his forehead and Thomas has 2 tiny scars under his bottom lip. Both of my boys earned theirs as toddlers/preschoolers...they must have heard how "chicks dig scars" and took it too literally!

Good morning all....once again trying to catch up! I'm becoming a lurker...seems I'm never on when anyone else is anymore.

Today was going to be a day to relax, but I think we may be getting together with Pete's parents. They took a trip to the Dominican Republic 2 weeks ago and have pics to show.

Have a good day everyone!
