Aarrgghhh....stupid economy.

Airtran has now listed flights from Milwaukee to Orlando for our cruise dates, and I'd really like to book and get it done with.

However, I heard a rumor on Friday that the next round of layoffs at my company could be in 2 weeks. What do I do?
A layoff is probably the only reason I'd ever cancel out on the BOB cruise (and I will be heartbroken if I have to do so) but I am SO nervous!

We did quiet a lot of walking today as well Dan. Good two miles to pay in some cheques to the bank (our choice to walk) and then 0.5 mile to the Drs and back.

You at least have the fall back of O'Hare since you're not that far away. I'd hold for the two weeks. AT will charge another $75 per ticket to change them and they are non-cancelable (sp?) unless you spend the $350 per ticket each way.

our flights are out also. $172 plus fee. $200 pp total roundtrip.
i'd like to wait also but at that price, we may just roll the dice, buy them, and hope i have a job by then.

pretty simple. a few days at my parents at clearwater beach. 3 days at SSR.
(MK and epcot for sure) then back to clearwater for 3 or 4 days.
we're hoping to relax for a change, but we'll see.
we always seem to be on the run on vacation.

Good idea to jump on that Mike. Check your trip insurance. Depending on the clause, if you're at your job for something like 3 years, it will cover loss of employment. Check each of them carefully because some may have needed to be booked within 14 or 21 days of the FIRST deposit which was back when you booked the cruise.
