I find it amazing that the fawn keeps coming back - it doesn't look like you live in the country. I don't usually think of deer in yards in NJ!! In 34 years we've only had a deer in this yard once!!

There are a lot of deer around here, we have a very big wooded section just two blocks behind our house. I see deer quite a bit, but this was the very first time I saw one in our yard.

Good news.

Who went to Disney on Ice? I took my granddaughter last Sat. It was Mickey & Minnie's Journey. Little Mermaid, Lion King, Lilo & Stitch ( not my favorite at all) & Peter Pan. She didn't like the monster characters & the noisy parts. It was a good show though.

That is the house I grew up in with 6 kids (3 boys, 3 girls) and two adults. When we grew up we did not know how little it was. There is only one bathroom/ 3 bedrooms. We never had a problem until we got older and brought in-laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Then there was a fight for the bathroom. Diane

I think I asked you before but don't remember - where in Mass is that? I started out in Mass too. Born in Fitchburg, later lived in Andover, came to Maine when I was 10.

They would come right on the lower level patios/balconies. I have a pic of one coming through the fence at breakfast too, but I think it is a little blurry. I'll try to find it and post it. It was only poking its head through because Suz kept feeding it.

They were cool. Especially seeing them all run to a patio when they heard a sliding door open. Kinda like Pavlov's Dogs. It was also funny when they all got scared once - just bolted for the trees and climbed up.

funny, as i recall, when we met you, robin and i broke up a fight between you and another famous disser. there they were rolling around on the terminal floor fighting. it really was quite entertaining.

We got sun and it should be pushing 50* today. Most of the snow should melt finally. I can't remember the last time we past freezing (maybe one or two hours while we were gone). Last time we got this warm (or even above 35*) was around December 15th.

It is suppose to be warm for a few days, so I'm hoping no snow left on the ground (again, had since mid-Dec) by mid week. This will just set us up for a dumping in the weeks after then. We hadn't had a storm in a couple of weeks now. Last year, we got almost all our snow in Feb and Mar. Hope it doesn't come again this year. We had enough in Dec.

Remember Good Friday last year Jeff? Over 18 inches of the white stuff that day.

Nancy K, it's me and my girls who are going to Disney on Ice tonight! I'm so excited about it too. It's a tradition in this house. Kristin (DD) and I go everytime they are here. We both score an overpriced souvenier from the evening too. Usually some kind of a character cup or something. This year we are taking Stacy (DIL) with us too. It's girls night out. The boys are playing Poker.
