I'm like that when I get back from vacation too! I am wearing crocs and shorts all the way home! I get the funniest looks from people

There was a guy in the international terminal that saw me and said to his wife, "must have just gotten in from a warm climate". I'm thinking, "yep, and I wish I was still there".

I can't fly home in jeans and a sweatshirt from a warm place. My body is heated up from a week in the sun, the plane will just be too hot (figure it sits on the ground in Mexico for at least one hour before coming home).

He is doing well. We had a great time last week. There will be more pictures of him as I get more of my trip report done.

Tommy loves Walter. Walter is his dog which ticks me off because I resuced him he should love me better.

Good morning everyone. I woke up this morning with Mel on my mind.

Mel, are you around here somewhere? I am wondering if your brother is still deployed? I had an appointment at Walter Reed Army Hospital yesterday, and as I walked in the door, the sights I saw reminded me that even as my life goes on and on, there are men and women who have their (family) life on hold and are fighting in a war. So, if you're reading this, Mel, please know that your brother, and all other deployed service members (UK & other countries, too) are in my prayers......

Sorry to be a little sappy this morning, y'all, but yesterday was an eye-opener for me......

The King Cake recipe looks fabulous! It looks like something nice to make for the office for Fat Tuesday (is that OK?) Just one question - where to you get the baby to bake into the cake? Does Michaels have stuff like that?

Feel better soon. I am working from home today. I have been working from home a couple times a week. It is great. I have Jack on my lap and Walter on my feet keeping them warm.

Just in case anyone is interested I'm posting a link to some Sunscreen Soap that I've been using. It only offers an SPF10 but it's better than nothing in these winter months when you may forget to use your sunscreen normally.

Oh, we had the "experienced" crew on our United flight yesterday. The ORD-CUN-ORD route must one of the preferred ones for the seniority members. Figure, they're flying down with people going to a great vacation spot and coming back with people who had a nice break from the cold. Can't ask for better clients.

I do have to say the service on United was really good. Better than any airline we've been on in the past few years. Will definitely fly them again (this was our first flight with them).

We flew United to Arizona, and I thought they did a nice job.

I only flew United once to Chicago and back. I really enjoyed listening to the cockpit/tower chatter on one of the channels. That was enjoyable. One thing that startled me though. While taxiing, I hear the O'hare tower come on and say, "United 153, you're that blue one down there right?" I thought to myself, "we are at the busiest airport in the world and the tower is identifiying us by our color?" How many other blue planes are there!

How about a tease picture of the grounds of our hotel. This was the walk from the pool to our room (our building is right there on the left - upper level, backside though). The path continues around to the main building. Just a beautiful walk everyday.

There were several buildings around the whole property, same as Disney sets it up. The pool was in the middle of the property. Here is a map of the property:
