Talk of a possible Nor'easter hitting our area on Tuesday, I'm starting to shake in my boots already.....

I don't like Nor'easters......

Yeah I heard that last night on the news as well. They are saying the early tracks are for it to be a snow event for us as well.

Bernie, I've been in bed since 6pm last night...just got up an hour ago so as long as it doesn't get worse, I will still see you tonight for supper I will call you later

Made it to Riverwinds this morning, albeit a little later than usual. Got in a nice 2.5 hour workout then did my weekly weigh-in........


I was a bit nervous because I didn't get my workouts in on Wed-Thur-Fri because of the nasty weather, but I did manage to lose 1/2 pound this week......


Sitting here having a nice tossed salad for lunch.........

Half a pound is still a loss.

Yes, it was quite a rude awakening last night! I hear we might be getting more snow tomorrow.

I once went to a conference in Orlando in February. When I got on the plane in Portland, Maine it was 1 degree. In Florida, it was 75 when I landed a few hours later. That evening while driving along I-4 in my rental car, I was listening to the radio and they were lamenting about a rare fog that rolled in at Daytona Beach. They said it was freezing outside and that the temperature dropped to 57 degrees! I started yelling back at the radio saying, "you have no idea of cold!"

Incidentally, I didn't eat too much that week. I came to the conclusion that my body did not have to generate as much heat as it was used to and therefore messed with my metabolism.

Big Red

A cruise terminal? Maybe the one they used for the old Disney ship. I think it was something like: The Big Red Boat.

Looks like heaven to me.

Karen, what a great idea about the closet situation...

Get her to help make the closed sign - it will help her understand the idea. Show her the ones at your local store maybe. Anything is worth a try if you get more sleep
