Can I just tell you how much I love this thread! Remind me never ever to go over to the Community (and I use that word lightly) Board. I not only had to defend my husbands profession, but I had to defend the fact that my daughter has a right to an education! When did that board get so ugly!

That's why I stick around the cruise threads Becky. I had a hard time on the Resort board a few years ago. I brought up a subject that was obviously taboo.

I need a little favor from my DIS friends.

Jesse's aunt/Godmother is going through her third Breast cancer diagnosis. She is only 38 years old with 3 young children. She cannot get chemo or radiation treatments and the doctors are not hopeful at all. Unfortunately, she doesn't have long to live.

Please keep Suzie and her family, DH Dave, DS Derrick, DD Alex, and DD MacKenzie in your thoughts and prayers.

I don't like posting stuff like this here, but how else can I get some prayers for the family if I don't ask for them?

I'm working from home right now. It's not going to be that bad - probably only an inch but I'm waiting until it stops to go in.

Good morning everyone from a slightly snowy Connecticut. We have a dusting of snow and it is still coming down. The kids do have school today, so they are dragging their feet a bit today. I volunteered to take them instead of trying to catch the bus.

I called about getting a cord of firewood yesterday, so I hope they can deliver it today. I would really like to have a fire going pretty much non stop during this cold blast!

Well I don't know how cold it is where you are but it's some cold here in the State of Maine. As I set here it's - 10 degrees with the wind makes it about -20
I hope everybody stays warm today.
Nancy is subbing today so she has left me a honey do list from taking the dishes out of the dish washer to laundry OH well .

Good Morning Bober's

Had to stay home from work today because I had a tooth pulled and it didn't go so well. Have to see an oral surgeon because part of the root has fused into my gum That tooth has been nothing but trouble. Upside to the whole thing is I can only eat soup...maybe I will lose a few pounds

Stay warm & drive safe everyone. The roads here in good ole WI are lovely---NOT!!

Yeah I knew it was a matter of time..lol but when it comes to where we eat... I rule the roost..LOL

But of course!!

ok i guess. because the wedding is nearly 5 hrs away cassie's doing most of the planning. she knows the area. the halls booked . a photog friend of theirs is taking the pics. and we are flying in a DJ from Canada (and his family). i think their names are rob, cass and kira.
cassie vows this will be one of the cheapest weddings ever.
we'll see.
she's really not into the whole "fancy production thing".
she's wearing robins dress and her and the fiance have said they are both wearing "chucks"(tennis shoes) during the ceremony.
my mom will have a fit. my dad will just laugh.
