Karen - Thanks for all the pictures from you trip. It has been so long since I have spent more than one day at the parks. We are trying to plan a week vacation this summer. Hopefully that will work.

No worries. I'm new at this. I just figured since Kathy stole a pirate from my SSMC09 thread I'd try and steal an FO from yours. Besides I'd never be upset with a pancake sister.

My family & co-workers think I am nuts too.The question asked all the time... Isn't the whole idea of a vacation is to get away from everyone??

Besides that they think I am crazy for loving Disney so much..they just do not know what they are missing

Mark & I first went there as a couple, before we had kids. We had so much fun.

The last time we had all the family in Florida, we all went to Disney - but there was no choice given. The time before that, we gave the kids a choice. They wanted Universal, so we put them on a shuttle and Mack and I went to MK! We love Disney as adults, but we still love to create a bit of magic for little ones and we know that when the time comes, we will be quite ready to see it through the eyes of our grandchildren.

I left off yesterday with page 4 and just checked in at page 24!! I'll go back & skim later. We survived a great time with the 2 youngest grandkids. The hockey game was great. Our middle grandson scored the winning goal in a game between cross-river rival teams. The little ones spent the night -slept very well. Today we 2 were off to another game which the grandson's team won 3-2. One more tomorrow. Did I mention he plays on 2 teams? Busy, busy folks we are!! Now to go back & do some reading!

Well I'm up to page 12 & will deal with the quotes I've captured so far.

I would LOVE to go to a game at Wrigley Field! In fact, when I retire (if I can ever afford to retire) I would like to go to a game at every major league ballpark.

The man next door is doing that - I think he only has 2-3 more to go to.

This year if you aren't season ticket holders, it will be VERY hard to get tickets. They will demand top dollar on stub hub.

I am a Bleacher Creature, so we always see entertaining stuff out in Section 39.

My brother used to do that at Fenway - just go to Boston & take their chances. Of course that was several years ago & the demand wasn't so great.

We are expecting snow tomorrow through Sunday. Which means it will be impossible to find any milk around here!

I have lots of projects for around the house though.

Good thing I have a brand new gallon in the fridge!!

Ok I did sooo well with avoiding buying a wii cause we have 4 different systems sitting collecting dust... this is not helping me Karen!!..lol

We had a few too and they just sat there. But the Wii is a different story. We all enjoy it. It is way more active and fun to play each other.

Why yes Dawg, the skirt part of my pirate costume IS red. But I'll be looking for a WHOLE red dress for October!
