Good morning everyone. I am finally back on after not having ISP for a day. On Sunday morning there was a really bad fire about a mile from the house on one of the main streets in the city. Incidently, the main phone lines were melted as they run right in front of the destroyed building. We haven't had phone service since about 2:00 am on Sunday. I had DSL until yesterday morning, but lost it while they repaired the lines. We are now back up and running. Both phone service and DSL are restored! I was so lost without internet last night after I got done with work. No itunes, no DIS...

Hi everyone....I've missed you all!

Sorry I've been away for a few days....things at work keep getting busier, and now I'm trying to get ready for the holidays! My Christmas shopping is mostly done, and most of my trip planning is done. This week I'll be working on finishing my shopping and starting to pack and wrap presents, etc. I don't know how I'm going to get it all done in time!

Please let me know if I've missed anything important!

Just notified that our company's Par For Kids Sake Golf Tournament has been rescheduled from June to October 26, 2009. Our team won last year's tournament, and was looking forward to repeat. Last year's prize was a $300 driver to each team member.

But wouldn't give up the Bober Cruise for the Tournament

Just notified that our company's Par For Kids Sake Golf Tournament has been rescheduled from June to October 26, 2009. Our team won last year's tournament, and was looking forward to repeat. Last year's prize was a $300 driver to each team member.

Hi everyone.. so a mixed up day for me, first of all work has been going really well and I have thursday and friday booked off to do some christmas shopping... bad news someone back into our suv today and took off! Thankfully there was a wittness and she was kind enough to write down the make modle and licence plate number.. the nerve of some people.. I mean we have all had boo boos in parking lots, so if he had come in and said "oops" then hey no problem.. but for the guy to just shrug and spin off??.. wow tis the season to not care I guess.. the damage is not huge but it is body damage with paint scrapped off.. so enough to go "this sucks"

My front turn signal blew out in my van on Friday. As I was taking my bell ringers home on Saturday, I was making a left turn. Since my front signal was out those cars in front of me did not know I was. Some guy flipped me off and started yelling at me because of this. I mean what, he had to wait an extra five seconds to make his turn???? I guess he thought he was bad in his Dodge truck. He must not like Chevy's as I was driving a Chevy! He fit the mold of a New England redneck.

Needless to say, I bought a new bulb yesterday and fixed it. I was only without a front left turn signal for about 72 hours.

well it will be considered a "hit and run" so not sure.. he will get a ticket and have to fix the damage. The police will come to work tomorrow to inspect and take the report, it is not a priority like murder..lol

but I think I will write a very nice thankyou card to the woman who saw and went looking for us to report it.

That's too bad. Hope you can get it fixed without too much hassle.

Anybody else read about the Wonder's gangway collapsing on Sunday during embarkation? I read there were no injuries and am wondering if that is correct.

I didn't hear anything about it. I would think if it's true Disney would want to keep it as quiet as possible.

Wow how neat. My daughter is going on a cruise this month and asked me about swimming with dolphins. I have never. I told her it would probably be fun. Maybe she will do it. I swam with sting rays. That was alot of fun. Right Mike and Robin. Diane
