Anyone here have DirecTV? I am thinking of upgrading my cable and amd wondering if DirecTV is worth the hype. Right now we just have standard Comcast.

I had Dish and liked it, but got a great deal from Time Warner. My locked rate runs out next month, so we'll see what we do.

My brother has DirecTv and I may go in with him. I will also price out Dish again as well as AT&T Uverse. But then again, Time Warner may come through with a good re-up rate.

Satellite usually is cheaper and they have expanded the HD channels. I think our locals are in HD now.

He liked the UPS man better. I ran out to see why he was barking and caught the UPS man yelling at him. :rotfl2: The UPS man should take lessons from our mail man. All Cabo wants is to be petted and a couple little bisquits wouldn't hurt either. :rotfl:
Our dog jumps in the UPS truck. the driver always gives her treats.

Ok sorry about that folks I had to make supper.. we had salmon with rice and peas.. yum yum.. now i am currently smelling my apple criso baking in the oven.. wish I had some icecream to go with it..lol

I have a TiVo to go with my regular comcast, and I like that. The TiVo service is very user friendly and I may not like the Comcast DVR.

Nah, it's running too slow for me tonight. I keep getting errors. If I want to be irritated, I'll just go to work instead. :lmao:

BTW...I'm so Jonesing for a Big Catch. :cloud9:

User, I'm sure. :rotfl2:

As for the Big Catch, I so could go for one as well. We went out Saturday night and went to Park Avenue. They have great pizza, don't get me wrong, but when I was sitting in church, I was craving a Big Catch.

We have the Comcast DVR, and it suits our needs, but everyone looks for or wants something different. I know all our local chanels have gone HD, so I should check and see if the satellites are offering a better deal now.

I don't have an HD TV just yet. Still enjoying my Sony CRT tv I bought 8 years ago. The color is great, picture is great. I may get a HDTV after the cruise...maybe next Christmas.

I think this Christmas season will be like last and LCD TV's will be really cheap, at least up to 50" size.

We have a LCD Projection TV (about 17" deep), but got it back when flat panels were expensive. I have a 19" LCD flat panel in my bedroom. Picture is great.

I'm Back. Can't sleep.
Chris, we have Direct. We like it. I'm not a big TV person but Scott loves all the history options and HD stuff.

Sounds like our house, I come home to all those boring history channels on.
We have Direct and like it also. Don't know how we got along w/out DVR

It makes it so much easier to watch your favorite shows at your leisure. Sometimes Elaine and I will have lunch together and watch our favorite tv shows without the kids interupting. Its great!

We don't have DVR. Scott would really be watching stuff all the time. He loves TV.
