10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat Cruise (I'm with BOB) Chapter #10

Funny you ask...one day (about 10 days ago now I think) I was complaining about how hot it was, hoping for fall weather and the very next day, I got it!! It went from stinking hot to cool! It's been freezing lately, more like November weather instead of September weather!

But I like it so it's all good



I'm not a pool girl either...well I'm not a sun-girl so I tend to stay out of pools during the day but at NIGHT....hot tub and then pool to cool off ...SIGH Heaven!!!

Every night on the cruise I like to sit in the hot tub...it's so cool to look up and see the stars and the clouds moving. That's when I know I am on vacation

Our weather seems to be flip-flopping. One day it will be nice, cool, pleasant.. then the next it's HOT!

As for the pool and hot tubs... I do like them at night, like you said. But for planning my time on the ship... I have other choices first! But, I will definitely try it out next year!

She just has a nasty cough. Usually with that, they send the kids right home. She seems to be doing better now though, driving me nuts in fact!

Our DD is 8, DS is 6.

They always seem to take a turn for the better when they're missing school! Sarah missed a couple days in the spring for a cold/cough. She didn't feel horrible, she just couldn't sleep well with the cough. (She's 8 also. Matthew got the "honor" of staying home with her!)

Its Sam. She is actually rather mad that she had to stay home because her friend is having a birthday party tonight and she can't go.

Yeah she was coughing all night. Its a really tight cough but sounds like it is loosening up.

When we were at the US Open (seeing dreamy Roger Federer ) in NYC we were sitting next to a guy from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He works with Deanna Favre's sister. He got her on the phone when he found out we were Packer fans. She told him to tell us that we DON'T know the whole story, that Brett never wanted to leave Green Bay, and that Ted Thompson has been trying to get rid of Brett since Thompson got to Green Bay. Now, this is entirely her opinion and her side of the story. I know that Packer fans will never know what really happened. It is just really, really sad!

Kinda figured V. I bet we never find out either.

when i was young like you, i didnt have a scar and still had somehair. then i got old, lost a little hair, had my heart surgery and now the chics wont leave me alone.

We'll have to have a VA Dismeet some time before the cruise. Fredericksburg might be a good spot to have dinner some night. Paige and her family aren't too far away from there either.

Hiya Karen,
We are on the same plane on the saturday Mini meet on the plane. That will help pass the time, we will have to get seats together.
We can only get the sunday flight back at 18.30pm. Oh dear 1 extra day in florida. We have paid £1460, not bad actually.
The pound is falling now against the dollar

Have you dropped by to tell us you've booked a 10/24/09 cruise with the rest of us??? Hmmmmm????

Wow...first grade and middle school?!?! Where does the time go? It was raining here too....

By the way, Pete loved Stone's Throw winery in Door County....we had a good time wine tasting:

And as it turned out, it was only a couple of miles from where we were staying!

We sell about 10 of their wines at our store. I call them "hybrid" wines as the grapes are grown in Cali, but pressed in Wisconsin. I glad you guys had a fun time. Isn't wine tasting fun?
