Gee, I would ask if us VA DISboarders started a trend. But, to be honest, I was inspired by Walt & Di and their roadtrip / DISmeet.

i was watching highlights of sundays football games on espn and i noticed that QB from the jets threw 6 touchdown passes in their game. he must be really good. i think his name was Brett something or other.

I think I saw one of these once on Star Trek. It flew across the courtyard and sucked the face off of one of those "Red Shirt" guys. You know the type. (Captain Kirk, Mr. Spock, Dr. McCoy, and Ensign Duncel transport down to an alien planet. Guess which ones not coming back.)

OK, I changed it. Although, I think there was a character (short lived) spelled that way. Do any of the Trekkers out there recognize the name Duncel? It was used to describe Captain Duncel, I believe. (referring to Kirk in one episode)

Hello, everyone! I'm back. I just dropped Laura off at the airport, she's going to Texas for her M.O.P.S convention. (Mothers of Preschoolers) I've got a much needed vacation from work to watch the kids. I'm spending the time working on my Christmas Decorations. In the time that I have been gone, I have completed a few props, worked HUNDREDS of hours at work (they're way shorthanded) and gone to my annual ShowdownLan Party (3 days, 500 guys and computers and Loads of fraggin' on TeamFortress 2 and Call of Duty!) I'll be spending much of the next week right here in front of my computer trying to knock out the synchronization that I need to get done for this year.

I've been working on animated characters for my Christmas display. Think of a large 4x4 foot lightbrite and that is what I have created. Each panel is made of a product called Coroplast (corrugated plastic)
There's Suzy Snowflake:

Suzy is 4 channels and when animated her wings will appear to flap and Snowflakes will appear from her wand. I made her to go with the old song Suzy Snowflake by Rosemary Clooney. Suzy has 775 ;ights.

There's Mr Heatmiser:

He will sing his part in the song Mr. Heatmiser from the animated feature "A Year Without Santa Claus." When animated his mouth will open and close. I studied the character and his mouth does not open much when singing. This configuation is mouth open and uses 3 channels of computer control and consists of 900 lights.

There's Mr. Snowmiser: (Heatmiser's Brother)

He will sing his part in the Mr. Heatmiser song. The song is performed by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. This particular configuration is mouth open. Snowmiser has 3 channels of computer control and he uses 640 lights. The white lights that you see on him are twinkle lights that really make him stand out.

This is the mouth open configuration for Mr Snowmiser. As you can see his mouth opens much wider than Mr. Heatmisers'.

When Heatmiser is singing most of the lights in the front yard will be red. When Snowmiser sings the lights will all turn white with snowflakes placed all over the yard.
