I have a way to go. I should be well motivated, but I can't get in the groove...eating or exercising!

Beth, don't worry..it took me year's to finally make the decision to loose weight. Glad I did though. I feel so much better, don't mind having my photo taken now and my asthma has improved so much, I hardly need my inhaller.

Oh shoot, I was just talking with my mom on the phone and forgot to tell her about the Tiara Tarts, I know she will join in. She still hasn't said anything to Walt about the cruise, she is hoping to have the cruise paid off by Walt's birthday in April, then she is going to surprise him with it. Walt will be 87 in April, I just hope his ticker is still in good shape when my mom springs the surprise on him........

I bought a new game that just came out last week for the Wii. It's called the Active Life Outdoor Challenge I love it! For anyone that has a Wii and is looking for something fun to get them up off the couch and moving this is a good game. Before buying it I borrowed our friends Dance Revolution game for the Wii and felt way too uncoordinated to go out and buy that but the Outdoor Challenge I really like!

I know how you feel about DDR! I bought it for my daughter for Christmas. It was very hard! But, with practice it gets easier. The only problem is that the Wii is set up in our family room which is our main place to be. I bought a second dance pad so 2 people could do it together/ They took over the family room! I had to put the dance pads away and they are such a hassle to get out that they haven't been used for awhile. I did just buy the Wii Fit. That is pretty cool.

What kind of things do you do for the Outdoor Challenge?

I haven't seen any discussion about tiaras for a while. Has anyone found one? Still planning to wear one? What's up?

I think I have one that I plan to wear unless I decide that it is too big and gaudy.

I came late to the board... even though I've been on since May!

The idea popped on a few threads back ... I think I may actually be to blame. I'm pretty sure I said something about wearing one for my 40th.

I think it's a great idea to see if Cass will add it to her website ... that way it would be easier to plan a "meet" if we all really want a group picture.

As a surprise for a neighbor's 40th birthday, her husband rented a limo for about 10 of us to drive in to DC. The instigators had plastic tiaras for all of us. The birthday girl's had flashing lights! What was really funny was when we pulled up to a Wegman's grocery store (...to buy chocolate!) and all went inside. At the cashier, we had several people ask what was up... and a few who wanted to come with us!

We toured around a couple of monuments and then had dessert at a top-floor restaurant of one of the DC hotels. It was a lot of fun.

What's this about tiaras????

In a previous thread, Brenda mentioned she was thinking about wearing a tiara for formal night on the cruise for her 40th birthday. I think she asked if anyone else wanted to join her (I don't remember for sure, maybe some of the rest of us just thought it would be fun!)...so now we are back to discussing it again!

I'm thinking I will wear a tiara...I've always wanted one! So, feel free to join in the fun!!!! I think we're hoping to get organized enough to get some pics in our tiaras too!

Three Men on a Hike

Three men were hiking through a forest when they came upon a large raging,
Violent river. Needing to get to the other side, the first man prayed:
'God, please give me the strength to cross the river.'

Poof! ... God gave him big arms and strong legs and he was able to swim
Across in about 2 hours, having almost drowned twice.

After witnessing that, the second man prayed: 'God, please give me strength
And the tools to cross the river'
Poof! .... God gave him a rowboat and strong arms and strong legs and he

Able to row across in about an hour after almost capsizing once.

Seeing what happened to the first two men, the third man prayed:
'God, please give me the strength, the tools and the intelligence to cross

Poof! ... He was turned into a woman. She checked the map, hiked one
Hundred yards up stream and walked across the bridge.

if it's the dress...I'll have to wait a while...i refuse to buy a formal gown in the size I am now....
