10/24/09 Bash on the Boat (I'm With BOB) Thread #11

I hate when that happens, I hope you are feeling better by the time you read this Chris.

I am actually, but received a call this morning from our realtor and we have 2 house showings today, so I have been scrambling getting things nice and tidy. Usually we get at least 24 hours notice, but he has been out of the office.

Oh well...things look good now. Since I am home, I will get some ideas for a sermon on Sunday and start studying.

I started in 2002 also. Wanted to be in beter shape at 50 then 40.
I am 60 down from 2002 but still need about 40 more. I do feel much better
and am not afraid to go to the gym any more.

Heather- great pictures never would have recognized you. It's the days before digital so I will have to find one if it won't scare everyone.

Too bad I have to throw the winnings into our "Cruise Bucket". We clean out our pockets and my purse every Saturday and dump all the change into our Cruise Bucket. We had way over $300.00 in 7 months last time we cashed it in!!

You beat me today, I was only able to burn off 550 calories in my 45 minute workout this morning. I wish Riverwinds opened earlier on the weekdays, I could get a longer workout in before going to work, as it is, about 45 minutes is all I can do. Heck, it's still better than nothing at all!!!

So, inquiring minds want to know Andy. What do you do to work off all those calories in 45 minutes? I ride my stationary bike for 30 minutes and only manage to knock off a little over 200. And yes, I'm riding like crazy!!

Then on Friday, I got another promotion. It was a good week.

More or less turned into a phone conversation. We found out the school is in the middle of changing locations and the class that was supposed to start this past Monday will not be starting until Oct. 6th.

Lina told the director the reason she wanted to do massage therapy, she wanted to find a job that she could make good money so she could take care of Hazel and I after I retire. I told Lina not to worry about that, I was more than capable of taking care of us once I retire. Lina said that we have done so much for her for the first 18 years, she wanted to help take care of us. What a sweetheart.

Anyhow, Lina does have an interview at Baker's Shoes on Thursday afternoon, and she is still waiting to hear back from Build-a-Bear. Lina also said she is interested in taking classes at our local community college in January. So, things are looking up for Lina!!!!!

Good to here about her positive attitude for someone that's 18yrs.
