I escaped frozen Chicagoland for the warmer temps of the south many moons ago, but still love the Cubs, Bulls and Bears!!

I also love the bears and bulls but I have to root for the WHITE SOX!!! I am also a Blackhawks fan!!!

A great big hello to all - hope all are doing well.

Sorry for my absence...am trying to stay busy so my DISNEYitis won't act up. We are just starting 'Round two' of our home improvement projects (scrape the ceilings, paint, tile and new countertops). That will keep me off the boards for ~2 more weeks.
NICE!!!!! busy and lots of hard work - but nice!!!


Well...I can agree with you on one thing...GO COWBOY's!!! We got off to a rough start - just like last year...how it ends is all that matters. VERY TRUE

I am not a Giants fan but will admit...you have one of the best stadiums in baseball - IMHO!! I normally visit the bay area in June and will always try to see a Giants game. Know I'm a warm weather guy - but have never worn FOUR layers of clothes to see a baseball game (t-shirt, dress shirt, sweater and jacket) till I went to Giant stadium in June.
I soooo agree - it is such a beautiful park with an absolute GORGEOUS VIEW....but yes it can be a bit chilly at times...altho i have been to many a game there without a jacket and that's even better!!!!




I'll be kind about my comments on the 'team that should no longer be named' - am not a fan at all. Just wanted to comment...my boss just handed me his seats for this Saturdays game - ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS v some team wearing royal blue - plays home games at Chavez Ravine and gave us Gibson as a Manager. His seats are AWESOME --- first row of upper deck right behind home plate...I CAN't WAIT!! Will try and take some pictures - any specific players you'd like a shot of?



OHHHHH YEAH!!! Chill the beverages - pass the wings and DROP THE PUCK!!!

I do have a little boasting to do - please forgive me. My oldest DD (Karin) was inducted in National Honor Society last night. She is in her Junior year and we have resigned to the fact that college --- will be very expansive. We are very proud parents.

BOAST AWAY - you have every right to be proud!!! quite an accomplishment!!! I'm trying NOT to let private college education interfere with DCL needs...gets a little tougher each year though - uggghhhhh

I will have landed by now as well. We are scheduled to have dinner at the Cali Grill and watch Hallowishes from the terrace. But it will also be Game 5 of the AL Championship series that night. Nothing set in stone yet. We are at the Caribbean Beach Resort. We probably won't get there until about 6:00pm. We may go to Downtown Disney or maybe minature golf. Plus dinner somewhere. We are on the dining plan. What about you?

Hello, Everyone. I know that some of you have been sending me emails regarding the FE lists. Sorry if I have not responded. It's just that my inbox is full. I have cleared it somewhat but I still have a ways to go.

Anyway, first thing. For those of you who joined our cruise thread late in the game, one of our fellow travelers came up with a great idea regarding the FE. If, those of you who have not yet been given a list for the FE, and would still like to participate, please email and I will do a group consisting of you all. It will be a smaller group, but I think in consideration of the other cruisers, this may just be the best way to ensure that all who wish to participate can.

By the way, thank you, Sherry (lewis004kids) and Shannon (MattShannonBrandon) for the idea.

Next, I will be issuing final FE lists at the end of the month. By then, most everyone should have the room numbers and I will just update to add those on.

And finally, We have 31 days left!!!!

Thanks Sunshine Brenda for the update on the FE. We have gotten everything together but we were waiting for the final update so we could personalize some of the items.

Even though this is our 6th cruise...it is our first FE exchange and we are very excited about it.

Thanks again for all you have done for us to make this cruise special!

Thanks, Kim. It's had its moments, but it was still fun to do. I am just waiting on a few more stateroom numbers before sending out the final lists. Hopefully, that will give everyone enough time to put the final touches on their gifts.

Found out Alfred and Seymour are supposed to be on the Magic during our trip. We heard them about 2 years ago and they were fantastic. They had a family show and an adult show during that trip. I can not believe how fast time is flying this last 30 days. Have our cruise documents, suitcases packed and am trying to tie up all the loose ends at work. Hope they can do without me for 2 weeks (they will have to--they already tried to schedule a meeting for the 28th. I told them they would have to fly me in -both ways! So if a helicopter comes in -NOT!!!- that will be for me LOL). I count on Mickey to hide me if that happens.
