10/23/11 - Disney Dream

Can you put us down for a big MAYBE for the Fishlips meet. We get to MCO at 3:00 and are going to get our rental car and drive straight to the port. If we can make it before 5:00 we'll be there. Maybe wishful thinking

Hey I do have a travel question for you, We are driving.. and just wanted to know (considering you are coming from about the same place) What Time does your 1st flight start??? Ever so often I get the itch to Fly down..

I'm sad to report that we have canceled our cruise. My son's doctor thinks it's too risky for us to be on a cruise ship in case something happens at home. I hope everyone has a wonderful trip!!!

Amanda
I'm sorry. I hope you can get another cruise booked soon. :flower3:

So sorry to hear that Amanda. Best wishes for a speedy "back to normal" for you all.

Thank you everyone for your good thoughts. We are able to spend 2 nights at the Swan and attend F&W and MNSSHP. It's not the same as a cruise but at least it's something. My son can stay with my parents for the weekend so I know he'll be safe. (They live an hour away so he can't go to school every day from their house but they can take him to school on Monday morning.)

Sorry to hear that you won't be able to make the cruise but glad that you will be able to take a small get-a-way. Enjoy MNSSHP and the F&W festival!!

Weather forecast says a 20% of showers saturday clear on sunday then a 30% of scattered thunderstorms monday and tuesday with clearing weds not to bad I guess:)

So sorry you won't be cruising with us, but I am glad you will still be able to have some fun for your birthday. Lots of prayers & pixiedust: headed your way.

I'm sorry you won't be able to make it :-( Have fun at food and wine and I hope your son recovers quickly!

I'm so sorry you can't cruise...sending pixie dust for a speedy recovery for your son

Some of our group are already in Cocoa Beach...they reported seeing the Dream this AM. They also said it's COLD! After a few sweltering Octobers at WDW, I'm glad for cooler temps.

And this is an aside, but I just have a 2 second rant. Is anyone else in one of the downgraded cabins? I'm in one, and DCL via DVC are still telling me my cabin is a 9A and there have been no changes to its category. I find this very annoying, since you can currently book a 9D guarantee (9D is our new cateogry) on our sailing!!

9A is an Oceanview, 9D is an obstructed Ocean View. We booked (like 2 years ago) using points for a 9A.

It's not even that I care THAT much, it's just I don't like them acting like they don't know what I'm talking about...

Sorry, I'm just irritated that I'm having DVC Member Services issues this close to our arrival.
