we were really lucky in terms of our weather - i'm sure the cruise after ours wasn't as lucky!!

we had a fabulous time on the cruise!!
i was very impressed with everything about the Dream, including the food in the MDRs - it was a pleasant surprise after all the bad reviews i've read on the boards!

We loved doing the Fish Extenders! Thank you all for the wonderful goodies! The kids LOVED seeing those pockets full. I never would have guessed it but in the middle of all that food having a stash of candy to help the kids last until dinnertime was a lifesaver! We really enjoyed trying the candy from China (thanks for the "cheat sheet" along with them! Lol).

I hate that I didn't get to join in the adult meets in the evenings. DD hated the Kid's Clubs so I was never "kid-less."

Overall it was a great trip! I loved the Dream. Everything was just wonderful.

Does anyone know how full the ship ended up being? It didn't seem full (but I only have the classic shops for comparison).

We had an awesome time! DD loved the kids club and DS tolerated the nursery (he hated going, but was ok when there.) We are at WDW now and although I still love the World, I am kinda missing DCL! I did just find out from my parents though that our big family cruise has been moved up a year so we will be sailing on the Fantasy next Nov! thanks to all my DIS friends for sharing your knowledge so now we are semi-competent cruisers! Now to figure out potty training so DS can go to kids club next year!

Hi all.

It was great to meet many of you and then to run into some of you again and again.....Heather and Jimmy I think I saw everyday!

My apologies for the change of status on the area we had chosen to meet. This is one thing that is unpredictable from one cruise to the next.....how they designate the deck spaces. It was just April that I sailed and the area I had mentioned was a Family Zone and then this trip it was for adults only. Thanks to those that came by the outdoor stairs from 12 and found us meeting there instead.

Was great to have drinks with Mandy and DJ!

The FE was a lot of fun too! Thanks for all the goodies.....I got some great ideas for future FE exchanges. I put the mickey brush to good use on Castaway Cay.

Speaking of Castaway Cay.....I think we were the last group to be there before the hurricane passed directly over the island......still not seen details on how bad damage is but we could have been the lucky last for some time.

We rebooked for the same time next year.....October 20....and for the same cabin along with the one next door......Talking over the balcony edge to Cindy convinced us to do so......When you sail in the two rooms Cindy, take care of them for us.

It was a great time....wish I could have met more of you!

Anyone who forgot to re-book on board: DCL is now offering only 10% deposit on cruises! You also get a $25 on board credit - so its almost as good as rebooking on board!

Was someone from our meet in HA cabin 9670?

I'm thinking ahead, and thinking that I'd really like to book 8682 and 8684 for our next trip, but 8682 is HA, and I'm not sure I'd be allowed to book; or perhaps, that I'd be bumped from it if someone needed it. Any info on this topic would be greatly appreciated. Pictures would be great!!!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that I got a new screen name so you knew it was me if you saw me around the boards. I was loricdietzel and now am GusGus77. When I originally joined the boards I didn't realize that my login was actually a screen name and I also didn't realize I would be posting on the board as I just had gotten on the site to figure out a few things for our trip. Well after 275 posts and our third trip in the works (and second cruise!) I figure I am on the disboards to stay and really wanted a Disney screen name and not my actual name. So there you have it! I hate to start over at the beginning with my post count, but I figured better now than when I have 500 posts!!!

Thank you very much. Stitch was a surprise at the wedding haha i didnt even know he was gonna be there because me and my mom said we couldnt afford it and the price was insane so but its all good
